Casa Bastion - Dream away in this beautiful house with garden just a few steps away from the grand Venetian New Fortress, in the iconic location that can be seen in the British show “The Durrells”.

Beautiful, unique, family owned, newly renovated house dated back from the 18th century with its own private garden. You will find yourself minutes away from elegant shopping, supermarkets, restaurants and sightseeing. Sea is just a few minutes walk with several swimming spots to choose from!

This is a unique setup with an open view to the New Fortress and a private garden... probably the only one that can be found in the old town of Corfu!

Whether you're a couple on a romantic escape, a business traveler or a loving family on the holiday of a lifetime - you won't find a better place to stay in old Corfu Town.

Très bel emplacement dans le centre ville de corfou

L’appartement est très bien équipé et la terrasse charmante . À deux pas du marché et du parking, à 10 minutes à pied de la plage du centre ville. Je recommande !

Perfect little oasis

Our stay at Casa Bastion was excellent. Spiros and George made sure everything we might need was catered for and were quick to respond to our questions. We only met Spiros in person and he was a very gracious host. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. It is perfectly located, really close to the old town and halfway up the steps to the New Fortress. Being in the middle of everything might bother those who are noise sensitive but we thought it was fine. The best part of this booking is the gorgeous little courtyard, very difficult to find in old town Corfu. We spent many happy hours sitting in it. Would highly recommend.

Location, location, location

Comfortable house in the old city with a rare and beautiful patio. Good A/C and soundproof windows enable a relaxing downtime after a very hot day. Quiet neighborhood. The restaurant across the house is not a nuisance. Very well equipped house. More vintage furniture and light fixtures would enhance the beauty of this old house, but nothing to complain about in any way. Good communication prior and during the stay. Highly recommend.

Atmospheric

Characterful old apartment in the heart of the Old Town up a cobbled slope in the shadow of the massive old fortress. Large shady courtyard from which to nod at passers-by and a cool comfortable interior. Despite seeming old fashioned it had all mod cons- dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, aircon toaster, coffee maker etc. Large bed in main bedroom and plenty of storage. Supermarket just down the steps and a plethora of great restaurants close by. Spiros met us and left good information in the guest guide. Glad the restaurant opposite now not operating as enough noise drifting up from the square...Greek music from the dance academy next door was rather nice. Overall a not so little gem in a beautiful town.

Great Location & Adorable Apartment

Cannot say enough good things about the location of the apartment, the apartment itself and the hosts, George and Spiros! The apartment is located in an excellent part of Corfu Town, right in the midst of restaurants, shops, and the New Fort. It was conveniently located to the airport as well as a grocery store and a fresh fruit/veggie store. The private court yard was a delight! The unit itself was very clean, well organized, and had everything we needed for an amazing girls trip. The interior was updated with charming decor, the air conditioning and washing machine came in handy. Would 110% stay there again!

Just wonderful

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely house in Corfu Town. Location was very convenient for exploring Corfu. Close to all amenities. Property was very clean and adequately stocked. We had lovely mornings on the patio having breakfast. On the whole fabulous.

Best Location in Corfu

I rented Casa Bastian for a month and didn’t want to leave. The location is ideal. I spent many mornings and evenings in the courtyard/garden by myself and with friends. It was magical. It feels very safe for a woman traveling on her own and an easy house to share with friends. Spiros and George made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to return.

Korfu Stadt

Tolle Wohnung, gut ausgestattet mit hochwertigen Geräten. Etwas wenig Porzellan und Besteck für eine Wohnung mit Spülmaschine. Nicht so gut ist zeitweise der Heizölgeruch im Hof sowie die Kamera am Nachbarhaus, Diese ist auf den Hof ausgerichtet. Von der Wohnung aus sind der Markt, Supermarkt, Bäcker in wenigen Schritten erreichbar. Die Blue Bus Station und der Bus zum Flughafen sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir werden die Wohnung gerne wieder buchen.

Corfu Getaway

An absolute gem located in the heart of Corfu Town, with a spectacular courtyard to enjoy after a day of exploring. Communication & check in was seemless & we just wish our stay was longer to truly appreciate what Corfu and this property has to offer. Highly recommend!

Perfect location

The house had a fabulous patio and the house was clean and bedrooms roomy. It was a little noisy due to bar next door. But if didn’t bother me. The house was close to good restaurants and near the water and shops

Perfect stay

We loved this house and especially the courtyard. We stayed during Easter, and everything was walkable, but away from most of the crowds. Spiros was super helpful checking us in. Highly recommend.

Wonderful house, beautiful patio in great neighborhood!

Wonderful house with a beautiful patio garden. In a great local neighborhood close to the main shopping street and terrific restaurants. One of the best apartments I’ve rented in all my years of traveling. There are steep steps up to the house that may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Still highly recommended.

Great Location

Even though we were late arriving George was at the Villa waiting on us. The Villa was as described and in a great location with restaurants and shopping steps away.
