"The staff at the Mai Tai Express Hotel were very friendly and accommodating. They quickly called taxis for us when needed, and had a luggage storage room. The room is not large, but is adequate in size with a generous bathroom and nice shower. There was a room safe, electric teapot and refrigerator. The breakfast was expensive for what it is, and there are many close by options for less than the $32 a person. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room was very quiet. The location was excellent being in walking distance of the cruise terminal, shopping mall, and good restaurants and coffee shops. We stayed there before and after our cruise, and would stay there again."

"We had no hot water in our room. However, the hotel went to great lengths to remedy the issue, including paying for multiple breakfasts and lunches. They also allowed us to use the changing rooms to shower where there was hot water. They were sold out so another room wasn’t an option. It was disappointing that the facilities weren’t fully functional, but the manager stepped up to remedy the issue. They showed that they cared and that’s what matters. "

"The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The lagoon bungalow I stayed in was clean and the view was great. The A/C worked too. A lovely place to stay. My only complaint was the lack of parking and you had to pay a lot for extra’s such as beach towels, so bring your own. "
