"The parking fee was excessive. I can understand parking fee in a crowded congested area. This hotel is not in one of those area's! The Hotel is going through a major remodeling/renovation project. The hidden fees are not a good sign moving forward. The staff are 2 star quality customer service. There are fee exceptions like Front Desk (Tessa) She is 4 star quality!"

"I planned this trip for my husband and I’s 27th anniversary and I really splurged and upgraded to the suite. We came back to our room only to find that no one had even brought us clean towels let alone cleaned our room. When I called down and spoke to the manager they said they could come clean it then (at midnight) but that was the most they could do. After I got upset he said they would give us the resort fee back (between $35-$40) on a $450/nt suite. This is completely unacceptable. I rarely write reviews but this was such a negative experience I feel a tremendous responsibility in warning others that this resort will not work with you at even attempt to right their wrongs. On top of that, it was the most sub-par food and service of any hotel we have stayed at in Blackhawk over the past 2 decades. Travelers BEWARE!"
