We were satisfied with our stay at Hotel Alborada. The staff was very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was good. The location is right in the shopping district downtown close to shops and restaurants. This is an older property but we felt we had a good stay and received excellent value.

I came here for a business meeting. The location is great, right in the middle of downtown, so that part was super convenient. But honestly, the place needs maintenance. It doesn’t look very appealing, and the rooms aren’t soundproof at all — you can hear people talking in the next room. There’s also no ventilation, only heat, so the air gets pretty stuffy. The cleaning staff uses a really strong odor spray to cover that up, but it ends up being too much. For what they charge per night, there are definitely better options out there.

Si andas por Concepción chile esta es tu mejor opción en todo sentido las habitaciones están limpias insonorizadas y el desayuno tiene todo lo necesario incluyendo frutas frescas y lo más importante de todo muy buena atención del personal

Not good parking

The staff was super helpful & nice. The breakfast was decent. The hotel itself desperately needs updated. The location is not the best. The worst part is the parking. Be prepared for a very steep entrance to the parking garage & having them park you in spots where you can’t even hardly get out of your car.

El baño no tiene ventilación lo que hace que se sienta el olor a encierro y humedad, eso no es agradable, el platito donde estaba el jabón estaba picado, eso denota bien poco cuidado en cambiar sus artículos cuando se deterioran, por lo demás la gente de la recepción súper gentil, la habitación tenía buen tamaño y camas bastante cómodas, el wifi era pésimo

Nunca debí llegar

Una pésima experiencia, y se pudo evitar al tener comentarios más realistas. Mal ahí, ya que es viejo, hoy de mediano estándar y al menos para la habitación estándar publican información falsa: -No posee aire acondicionado, si loza radiante y tiene problemas de ventilación, debí abrir la ventana. Es ruidoso -No posee “bañera con ducha”, solo ducha. -Mide con suerte 15 mt2, salvo que agreguen el baño. La habitación aparte de pequeña, tenía alfombrada la muralla que va detrás de la cama, hecho que encontré de pésimo gusto, la ropa de cama de mediana calidad, almohadas viejas, y posee un cubrecama y cojines de una tela tipo arpillera café oscuro que deja sensación de suciedad y polvo, igual que con la alfombra. Me sentí en un motel parejero. El techo del baño estaba descascarado, lo que denota escasa mantencion. Solo había un juego de toallas, situación que advertí después de meterme a la ducha, por tanto debí compartir toalla con mi esposa, tanto cuesta tener dos toallas?. El desayuno fue lo único bueno, variado y buena calidad, pero definitivamente es un detalle mínimo y no volveré nunca más. Lo peor fue el estacionamiento, subterráneo con un acceso muy reducido, donde para entrar no ves hacia abajo y peor, para salir patinas a medio camino, ya que el cemento está pulido con el pasar de los vehículos, mi vehículo 4x2 patinó a medio camino, debiendo retroceder para volver a intentar salir, recién pude salir al cuarto intento. Mi esposa quedó aterrada.

The staff was very helpful and was very patient with our lack of Spanish. The drive into the basement parking lot was extremely steep and quite narrow. Quite nerve wracking getting in and out. But the facilities were well taken care of and the location is near the town center

Nice location in downtown area. Good size room and staff very helpful. Buffet breakfast in the morning was very good with lots of selection between fruit, cereal, eggs, bread, buns, meat and cheese along with juice and coffee. Would stay there again if in the area. Parking for the rent a car was interesting as you had to go down a 45degree ramp under the building. Need speed to get out as I later found out.

La ubicacion es excelente, pero con el primer problema que nos encontramos fue el acceso al estacionamiento, demasiado estrecho y muy reducido en general de espacio. Respecto a la habitacion posee un buen tamaño, al igual que el baño, exceptuando que la ducha posee cortinas, algo que encuentro poco higienico. En relacion al desayuno, este es promedio, pero el lugar fisico donde se dispone para esto, es pequeño.

El lugar está ubicado en una zona céntrica equidistante a comercios, shoppings, restaurantes, etc. El personal es muy amable. La habitación es normal, el tema es que la ropa blanca tenía olor a humedad y lo grave es que no cuenta con equipo de aire acondicionado. Hacía mucho calor y nos proveyeron un ventilador para paliar la situación.

Nice hotel with nice price.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. Walking distance to the main plaza where most of business are surrounded. The hotel is very clean and safe. Breakfast is good with plenty options to choose. My only concern is the internet connection. During peak time in the evening the internet is slow. It is enough to check emails only.

Gutes, zentral gelegenes Stadthotel

Im Zentrum liegt das Hotel Alborada. Eine gesicherte, kostenfreie, gut erreichbare Parkgarage steht zur Verfügung. Die Koffer wurden uns aufs Zimmer gebracht und das Check-In war freundlich. Das Zimmer, das wir für eine Nacht gebucht hatten, war geräumig; das Fenster öffnete sich zu einem Lichtschacht. Jedes Hotel hat aussen oder innen Geräusche. Im Alborada hatten wir ein kontinuierliches Brummen, dessen Quelle unklar war. Das gute Frühstücksbüffet wird in einem fensterlosen Raum serviert.

ok for a single night, no more

not located in a very nice part of the city, no one on site speaks a single work of english either during the dayshift or nightshift hotel was clean but not exceedingly so, wifi is iffy at best and night staff frankly looked like they had better things to do then actually working the reception
