Tired

Hosts were welcoming. Room clean but everything is quite tired and out of date. Breakfast 8-9 was restrictive enough but then we were instructed to be no later than 8.45 as the proprietor had an appointment to get to. My shower cut out half way through showering although I followed the very detailed instructions to the letter

We had a lovely stay. Convenient as had friends who live close. Bed was comfortable. Property a little dated could do with new decor. But we had an enjoyable stay. TV very small in bedroom.

Lots of geocaches around. Lovely sea side fishing village. Lots of evening places to eat. Due to "circumstances" the daily room servicing was DIY !

Disappointing

Presentation of property very poor. Appreciate they try to bring two rooms up to date each year. But they don’t seem to complete them stairs and hall could have done with a hoover and a clean. Overall disappointing. Wouldn’t stay again. Not what you would expect for a four star rating

Friendly but below average on quality

Friendly lovely couple who run this establishment but sadly the property is terribly run down and in need of a lick of paint, new carpets and curtains in rooms as only thin whitr blinds that had us awake at 5am Rooms are clean and daily checks with replenishments daily also but a mega issue was the stench approx 8am daily of grease and food coming from the kitchen which drifted into the room but upon exiting the room the landing and hallway was overpowering of the smell and made us feel quite queasy. Cant comment on the food as we didnt eat here. If the hotel matched the couples friendliness iit would be a 5 star property.

Really good stay

Really enjoyed my stay here. Was met by lovely, helpful lady who showed me to the room. Room itself was clean and comfortable, larger than expected and a good size shower. TV was a bit small but if that's the worst thing I can think of it can't have been bad!

Lovely proprietors very friendly. Good location for our needs and near sea front. Accomodation was adequate, mattress was a little hard and the property needed a lick of paint, however for the price it was reasonable. Overall a nice stay, we would stay at Northwood again especially as dogs are welcome. Breakfast was lovely and wholesome. One mobile would'nt connect with wifi.

Poor final stop on a lovely trip to Wales

Down fall was no curtains in the room and I was wide awake from 5.30am with the day light as the room was so bright. I was lent an eye mask for the 2nd night but I think they need to address this properly as lady in the next room advised of the same issue. Property could do with some updating but owners are pleasant and breakfast was nice.

The owners were very knowledgeable about the local and surrounding areas's. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again. Close to the promenade and local shops.
