Needs more light fixtures, receptacles that work, coffee machine broke in room, bare continental breakfast, no room service for towels or vacuuming or trash, no ice machines but new one not unboxed yet, no pool as of 5/20/23 still covered.
Most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in, mattress wasn’t clean bedding had cigarette burn holes. Dirt all over the floor upon check in and the bathtub was filthy. Mold on the wall by the ac unit. Electrical wires sitting on the floor behind the bed.
THE DUTCH INN IS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND THE HOTEL HAS BEEN AROUND FOR QUITE A WHILE. THE ROOM WAS DATED BUT IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED LIKE WE EXPECTED. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS GREAT.
The lady at the front desk was extremely unprofessional. She never smiled and only bad mouthed the computers and card readers at the the front desk. The keys were not programmed properly so had to see the unfriendly lady again. She was even worse the 2nd time. Once I gained access to my room, the a/c didn’t work and the shower was filthy. I will never step foot on this property again and I will tell anyone traveling through Martinsville/Henry County to stay away.

room is outdated. staff was very friendly..breakfast was exceptionally good
Pool was closed due to a drowning. Didn’t inform anyone that it was a crime scene beforehand. Rooms were filthy. No one came to clean the rooms until the 3rd day.
The entire property is falling apart! The lobby area was clean, but they chose to clean carpets overnight in the breakfast area; the floor was still wet the next morning & at least one person fell down. The rooms were barely adequate; with very old linens, thin towels, laminate floors instead of carpet, etc. Basically, I would not expect Quality Inn to continue to carry this facility. I would not recommend it on Expedia or any other social media. Too far gone w/o renovations.
This place and our room was DISGUSTING. Do yourself a favor and do not ignore the bad reviews like we did. Cracked paint, dirty chair, dirty floor, and BLACK MOLD!!!
I wasn't impressed with the room. Went to the front desk to let them know that we only had one washcloth and they gave me a hand towel and said that was all she had. Dead bugs in the room. Ice bucket was not clean and was dirty on the outside. The pool was not well kept. It looked as if it needed some refinished. when you sit on the toilet and got up it moved. Nothing was mentioned to the front office since they didn't like it when I told them I was without a washcloth. I wouldn't recommend this place to stay at.

Was given a room that wasn't ready for guests linens on the floor next room smelled like a dirty ash tray. Draws in night stand has used food containers as well as the refrigerator sticky substance on the headboard floor wasn't cleaned
We were greeted by a friendly lady named Alice that was very helpful and answered our questions since we were passing through and knew nothing about the area. The food was great for breakfast and the lounge upstairs was a fun time.
When we arived thay didn't have the room we reserved. Then we were given another room which was smoking and only 1 king bed. Then when we received our bill we were charged an extra $59.28. They charged us the difference between what you quoted us and their rates. This is the first time we have had this problem!
My family and I rented rooms 247 & 249 they were adjoining rooms so we could spend family time together. That was great service and staff was excellent. This was just May 28, 29, 30, 31, and 1st. The weather was very humid last week and the air in my mothers room wouldn’t work and then the real staff training came out then. We waited almos 3 hours for them to respond to our work order on the AC. Well my family with my 12 year old sister we’re all cramped up in a double bed hotel room and it was 8 of us that were cramped in a double bed bedroom. The next day the staff finally moved my mom who is disabled into another room which wasn’t conjoining and didn’t even offer them an extra night or anything a cup of ice water etc. Well needless to say that the next day our hot water went out and our showers were ice cold and they never even responded to our work order for warm water for showers. This is such a very very disrespectful way for someone to be treated as guest and hospitality my family and anyone else as ageist to their facility. I called around 9 on my checkout day after I left looking for some of my sisters headphones that she had left on an accident and the receptionist said that the rooms haven’t even been cleaned yet and if we left the property they wasn’t responsible to babysit property, that hers was to reserve and host the properties that were vacant. I including my family feel just really really insulted by the staff the amenities and the Dutch Inn itself. Shamed
They have bedbugs, rooms smell, inappropriate for guests dirty floor, etc,

I wont be stayinh here again. The room had a bad smell like someone had been smoking in it.The AC barely cooled the room at all maybe 75 degrees and it was over 90 outside. Some of the lamps needed bulbs in them and it just wasnt a place I would recommend to anyone. We wont be staying here again.
Room was really run-down. Yellow and brown spots on bathroom ceiling, mildew on handles and spout in tub. Carpet in the dining hall is so dirty and disgusting. Property was filled with workers from pipeline or something like that; may by why no money being put into up keep of property. On the positive side - the bed was very comfortable.
In the area for our niece's college graduation. Night check in staff was welcoming, especially after we had been driving around lost in the dark. They were helpful and pleasant. Room was not great, but better than expected. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. We were only there one night so didn't use pool or other amenities, but would stay again if ever in that area and can't get to our favorite hotel. They do accept pets which also saved us from what we would've had to pay on a pet motel.

The Quality Dutch Inn is a long-time landmark in Collinsville,VA, with a reputation as a center for community meetings and a great buffet. The accommodations are modest. Positive: the bed in my hotel room was very comfortable with crisp clean sheets. Negative: bathroom cleanliness not so good. Positive: OK breakfast buffet, nice lunch buffet. Positive: very friendly staff.
