"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay."

"The location is great! It is in front of the lake, a short walk to the Praia and it is very quiet and safe. It was our 3rd stay in 8 years with family and we were always between 10 and 13 people. The accomodations are very basic (few kitchen ammenities) but we stayed for 3 weeks and it was fine. The only issue was the water temperature inconsistency in the bathrooms. Thank you Jorge. "

"House was beautiful, great location, communication with the company/owner was perfect. The only thing they may improve is the check-in hours: too restrictive only till 7, although they offered their help for late check-in. I'd get back to this house without hesitation."
