The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean but at night I kept hearing the slamming of the doors of people coming and going into their rooms.
It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Great continental breakfast. Friendly staff.
good hotel. the owner hunted in Africa and has an animal theme going on.Really fun! although it's an older hotel and sure could use an elevator,it's a good place for one or two nights.
The lobby is a must see. The animals on display rival many a natural museum. Breakfast is great and access to downtown is great. If you have trouble with stairs be sure to ask for a down stairs room as there is no elevator.
The lobby is very unique which our kids loved! Clean, spacious room! We loved everything except that we were awaken by alarm clock in the middle of night, which was probably set by the previous guest. It should be turned off during housekeeping for the new guest though. That's why I gave it 4 instead of 5.
If you love breakfasting with wild animals, this is the place for you! The entire lobby is full of mounted African animals---in fact navigating them can be a challenge.
We found the room very clean and comfortable---nothing fancy.
My husband loved the sausage gravy on biscuits for breakfast!!!
Nice clean place to stay. Comes with continental breakfast.
Only thing we didn't like is the fact that this hotel doesn't have an elevator. Hard to carry the luggage and other items up all the stairs if you get a room on the second floor.
Pretty modern hotel and the animals displayed in the lobby are a nice touch.
Hotel is in a good location on main strip. It's next to a Dollar Tree and a restaurant, Walmart is near. This was convenient. The lobby is cool-looking. Safari animals are all over it, which is fun for the kids and adults alike. Breakfast is very good. It would be nice to have waffles included, but I ate the toaster French toast which was very good. Lots of coffee and tea options and condiments. They have laundry facilities that were very convenient and inexpensive ($3 to wash AND dry). The pool is nice too. Staff was friendly, and the tv in the room was nice for watching the Olympics. Our room was near the top of the stairs, so noisy in the morning. Pizza from Millstone is really good and they have a gluten free option too. Attend the Buffalo Bill rodeo as well as the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Both have AAA discounts and were fun to attend. The Center for the West is a HUGE museum (5 in one) and took all day. It was great and I strongly encourage going. Also, see the raptor show at the Center. It is wonderful! St. Anthony Catholic Church is nearby and welcoming on Sunday morning. You are about 1.5 hours from Yellowstone at this location if that is your destination. Stop at the dam on the way to Yellowstone. It's cool. The road to Yellowstone is really curvy and steep from this location. Great views, but a little dizzying to drive. I would recommend North (Gardiner, MT) or West Yellowstone if Yellowstone is the destination. Cody is a great destination in and of itself.
We stayed here for 3 nights during a baseball tournament. The hotel rooms were quiet, roomy & clean. We easily had enough room to use a single inflatable mattress that we brought--2 teenage boys didn't want to share a bed! Beds were comfy. Housekeeping was excellent. The staff didn't just provide fresh towels, but actually cleaned the bathroom every day, vacuumed our room, made up our beds & emptied trash. We were on a bit of a weird schedule where we didn't get up & out right away, so even when she was done with the rest of the rooms on our floor, she came back & did ours every day.
Breakfast, as other reviewers have mentioned, could be made so much better by just adding a waffle maker...but we did have yogurt, cereal, bread items, gravy, cut-up fruit every morning. Guest laundry on site. Pool area was nice & pretty clean. A/C in room worked great. Would recommend. BBQ place next door-easy walk for dinner! Walmart just up the road. There is no elevator-so if stairs are a problem, keep this in mind.

Disliked: Staff & service
Godt
Anderledes og interessant at spise morgenmad blandt udstoppede dyr.
I Cody er alt dyrt. Dyre entrebiletter til museer m.m
Lå centralt for os.

Clean, nice,no elevator, hard to carry luggage up stairs, staff friendly,ok breakfast
Hotel close to everything in Cody, Wy. Staff was welcoming. Rooms were cleaning, newer and well kept. Lobby was the main interest for this hotel. Actual, African wild animals that the hotel owner has had 'taxidermy' and positioned around the main lobby. Fascinating for adult and children alike. Nice, clean pool area. Would recommend for every traveler.
