This little condo is a very sweet rental in the Lincoln National Forest. We were there to visit White Sands National Park and the mountains were a refreshing respite from the dust, heat, and traffic of Alamogordo. We loved the location. The hosts communicate very well and are very responsive. There was a community wide power outage white we were there and the hosts were very proactive about communicating with us. The area is like a small ski resort town so there are food and coffee locations within walking distance. The condo is decorated very tastefully. The condo itself has a few quirks (we were constantly out of forks, the stairs going to the bedrooms on the second floor aren't all the same height, and the overhead lights downstairs flicker at times) but the beds were very comfortable.

The location could not have been more convenient — right in the heart of town, yet peaceful and relaxing with easy access to shops, restaurants, and all the charming mountain trails.The condo itself was spotless, cozy, and perfectly appointed. Everything we needed was right there — from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Check-in and check-out were easy. The instructions were clear and simple. Communication with the owner was exceptional — friendly, fast, and helpful.We will stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Cloudcroft — a true gem!

Cozy little condo, perfect for a romantic getaway or relaxing weekend with your family! It is walking distance from everything and a great home base for beautiful evening walks. Only a 1/4 mile hike to the Lodge where you can enjoy fine dining and excellent drinks and if you’re a golfer, play a round on one of the highest elevation courses in the US.

Quiet weekend in the mountains

We were wanting to get into the mountains for a quiet July 4th weekend. The property did not disappoint. While the weekend was quiet, we were still close enough to everything in town. The condo was just as advertised.

Nice property wedged between two not so nice properties. Nice updated accommodations with new appliances. The fridge appeared not to be connected to the water source therefore no ice. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Cloudcroft Stay

My wife, daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at this condo in Cloudcroft. We were very pleased with the accommodations and noted that it was extremely clean and comfortable. The bedding in both rooms were very comfortable which made for a restful stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary utensils to prepare a meal. Main living area needs a more efficient heating system for this time of year. Barely 40 degrees at arrival, turn on fire place heating system was on full time with a space heater. One space heater was not operational.
