Extremely kind hostess who personally cooked and served a high quality breakfast every morning. Swiss Family Robinson Room, on 4th level of a house on a hill, was beautiful and very comfortable, especially with windows open on cool October nights;

The Host Maria was just lovely. Tasty breakfast and great conversation. Great hostess and wonderful home decor . My wife and I had a very nice visit . Highly recommend this B&B .

If you don't like stairs, this is not the place for you, but if you love excellent cooking, a cozy environment, older homes, beautiful antique furniture, ecclectic charm, and a host that makes sure you are comfortable, this IS the place for you. The outside does not do justice to the warmth and charm found inside, a lovely old home with nooks and crannies holding antique treasures and marvelous little, and big, chotskies throughout. The food, excellent, with home made goodness each morning, and an array of snacks and drinks available throughout the day, Maria, the host, does an outstanding job of making sure her guests are cared for. A lovely getaway for an anniversary weekend like we just had, a business trip, or just to get away.

We have nothing but good things to say about this bed-and-breakfast. It was our first experience staying at a Bed & Breakfast. I tried to surprise my wife with it, She truly enjoyed her stay there. Maria was very helpful, kind, friendly, hospitable. It was an excellent stay for us. It does have a lot of stairs, but the place was clean well maintained, I love the bedroom at the top, had its own bathroom, we had great privacy. It was great.

My husband and I had the best weekend getaway here. Maria was such a lovely host, and her breakfast was fantastic. We loved our room and the style of the home. The decor of the home was so fun. We will definitely go again if we are ever in the area.

Gaslight B&B was a beautiful, grand old house, full of quirky decor and friendly people. Great location and walkable to several good restaurant options. Breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was the mattress was too soft for my stiff, old back!

We love this bed and breakfast! It is super cute and so easy to get to. It is only a 15-minute drive from all the river activities, the museums and parks. Maria is the perfect host, and breakfast is amazing!

Maria’s B&B is located in a cozy house in a peaceful neighborhood. The room and bathroom were nicely decorated and large. The place overall felt really clean also. Breakfast was more than we could’ve dreamt of with Maria preparing homemade muffins and frittata for us. Maria is super friendly and accommodating. We left feeling full and well-rested, would definitely recommend staying here!

In all of Cincinnati, there is no place I'd rather stay. Gaslight provides a unique experience that you will never get at a multi-national chain, regardless of the room cost. Maria does her best to provide a pleasant setting, great breakfast, and wonderful conversation. We stayed in the "Swiss Family Robinson Room" - which I would highly recommend. Overall, we really had a great experience at the Gaslight B&B.

My husband and I stayed here on our trip to The Ark Encounter in Kentucky and had a fabulous time. Our train got in at 3AM, which was communicated to Maria beforehand, and she was so accommodating to welcome us at that insane hour. The house is really big and quaintly decorated (it’s so cute!) and we had plenty of space and privacy. But be prepared for lots and lots of stairs! We didn’t exactly pack lite, so that’s the one recommendation I’d give. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty, our accommodations were nice and comfy, and our host was most gracious. Will definitely be going again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Gaslight B&B. Our room was clean and spacious with an equally clean and spacious private bathroom just outside the bedroom (we were on the 3rd floor in the Jewel Room). The inn was on a quiet street in a charming neighboorhood with fun shops and restaurants. Maria, our host, was great! She cooked us delicious breakfasts each morning and entertained us with hilarious stories. The only thing I would mention is there are no elevators since it's a beautiful old house. If you're older like we are and have large, heavy bags, it's a bit of a schlep getting them up the stairs. Maria and her husband Scott were happy to offer help with the luggage however. All in all, a great stay!
