Clean hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. My only very very minor 'gripe' is my keycard was turned off prior to my check out time. As I was returning to my room to get my suitcase, I had to go back down to the lobby and have my key card reprogrammed just to get into my room to grab my suitcase. The Bunn Coffee machines with automatic coffee grinding for each cup was a really nice treat!

This was a breath of fresh air for a stay at an IHG hotel. The Avid was clean and well appointed for our stay. The price was much below other hotels offering nearly the same amenities. The manager Clinton made a point to ask if we were having a good stay and if there was anything they could improve, he even listened to our comments about the IHG website and other IHG locations we had stayed at. Clinton is an asset to the hotel and would do well as an IHG executive truly motivated to improve the brand.

The breakfast was simple, but filling. There were nice options of hot food (eggs, bacon or sausage alternating days) and oatmeal. Cold food included bagels, bread, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and a variety of toppings. The staff was always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Two front desk clerks were especially helpful. One was Zak. I don't recall the person's name.

For a more affordable option, this is a great choice, very clean and a little minimalist. You have a mini fridge in the room but you do need to use the microwave in the lobby breakfast area. Other than that it’s awesome! Great breakfast too!
