"This place is awesome. I wish we had stayed longer. We stopped here for the night because it is the half way point for the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The residence was an independent structure with a large window looking out to the sea and the bridge. Sunrise was gorgeous. The unit has a beautiful bathroom, very nice bedroom and new clean kitchen. Everything about the residence was top-notch, including the amenities. The breakfast and dinner that we chose were amazing. Loved this place....

"Wonderful hotel to stay at while visiting the Art Island -- Naoshima only 20 minute ferry ride, and just 45 minutes to Toshiba. Hotel has nice room with a balcony and view of the Inland Sea. There is a tasty breakfast included and, included as well, is a free pass to the nearby onsen with its multiple cool to hot pools and sauna."

"I’ve stayed here multiple times when it was called the Sunshine Resort. Recently, they renovated this property and it is back to its original splendor. Definitely book an executive level room with the beach view and outdoor tub if you can. There is a free drink and appetizer lounge for executive level room customers and other perks. Ride the bikes around the island. Beautiful property and surroundings. "
