"Lovely hotel , lovely staff , area a little bit isolated but very easy to walk"

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay in Barbados! Traveling with a five-year-old and an 18-month-old can sometimes be challenging, but the entire staff made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly cared for from the moment we arrived. The resort itself was beautiful — the ocean views were breathtaking, the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. One of the highlights of our trip was the food. Everything we ate was excellent, and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate our family’s needs. We were genuinely impressed by the quality, variety, and attention to detail. What really made this experience special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. They treated us like family, and that level of hospitality made our vacation unforgettable. Overall, we had an amazing experience and created memories we’ll cherish forever. "Immaculate hotel with good food variety. Staff was amazing, super helpful and kind. Not a party hotel, more so for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach. The famous Ostins is a short 5 minute walk where you get to experience great food and music with the locals."

"The hotel is a great location , beaches and night life in walking distance and a wonderful ocean view. There are no elevators but staff helped with luggage."

"The meal options were very good. I am a picky eater and I appreciated the variety. The food was also fresh and tasted pretty good. The staff was amazing and I appreciated that the most. There were some hiccups with our check-in and room accommodations, however I appreciated that the staff rectified it for us. We had no other issues throughout the duration of our stay. The customer service was awesome and that is a quality that hotels and resorts are hit or miss with now days. The resort location is also centralized from all of the activities that we planned. I will even take it a step further and share that I went to one the infamous fancy restaurants there that has a great scenic view and the bulk was over $120 per person but I left the restaurant wishing that I had the resorts dinner instead. So overrated. I would definitely come back to Sugar Bay Resort! "

"Arrived around 7.30 therabouts. Checked in given the room. Tv does not work, air condition blowing warm breeze, water dripping from a/c unit onto fridge then dripping onto the floor, ice falling out the a/c unit. Notified front desk asked to be put in another room. They say no rooms available. Sent guy to fix. Tv started to work. A/c still not fixed. I said i not complaining is only five nights .To use the vault.3us dollars per day. Nonsense. I have been travelling for years never came across this. What to do with my personal things? Nonsense. Persons told me to demand they change our room,but its their hotel they can do what they like. I know i will NOT stay there ever again. I spent my Money but i felt CHEATED. They"

"Service was great from start to end, checked in in minutes, got towels, iron, soap and any reasonable request promptly. Place was very clean and organized on arrival and staff were courteous as well. Matched pictures, pool was great and overall great spot as well."

"The customer service was excellent - most staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is very ideal; there’s a mini supermarket across the road and the bus stop is right outside! The amenities was good. We had a late fight was able to store of luggage and use the hospitality room (toilet, shower and clean towels) to clean up before our flight - after a day at the beach! The room was spacious and good. But you get what you pay for! The partial ocean view room is more like MINIMAL ocean view. If you stay in a room on the ground floor and facing the street, it will be very noisy! The food was very underwhelming. We had lunch there once and it was nothing to rave about. There are waaaay better options elsewhere. The beach was good, there was plenty of beach beds available - no umbrella but there was lots of shade options due to the trees. Note that there is a lot of seaweed on the beach. Overall, this hotel was much more affordable than others and you get what you paid for. It was good for our short stay as we had plans most days. "
