Nestled in the gorge of the Colca

The hotel worked really well for our family. The family suite had amazing views and space for children and adults. While in the thermal bath the pet baby alpaca came by watch to the children's delight. We enjoyed meals and found the staff friendly and accommodating. Finding hot water bottles in our beds was a delight.

Hotel and surroundings were beautiful. Location was great and restaurant staff was super friendly. The lady who did our check in and check out was not so friendly and she kept our passports and forgot to give them back. The hotel called our tour guide and thankfully we were at the canyon and able to return to Chivay to retrieve it. The tour guide said that this is a common occurrence at this hotel and a major inconvenience. Management needs to address this issue. Otherwise the hotel was wonderful.

Beautiful and relaxing place!

Beautiful location, the hot springs were wonderful and there's access to the river. Staff was very nice and accommodating even though our Spanish is terrible. They helped us connect with our tour to Colca Canyon in the morning. Breakfast buffet was nice. The room was cozy and comfortable.

Älteres Hotel mit kleinen Extras

Das Hotel ist schon einige Jahre älter. Es wird aber liebevoll gepflegt inkl. toller Grünanlagen. Die Zimmer sind groß, Ausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Heizer muss dringend ausgetauscht / geprüft werden) aber meist funktionstüchtig. Die Wärmeflasche abends im Bett ist toll und wir haben uns sehr über die Extraportion Wärme gefreut. Die heiße Quelle war bei unserem Besuch eher lauwarm und auch nicht so super einladend - vieleicht auch weil wir vorher bessere besucht haben. Das Frühstück ist durchschnittlich und macht satt. Das Abendessen hingegen ist sehr lecker und hat uns begeistert. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen da Preis-Leistung auf jeden Fall stimmen.

We arrived in pouring rain and needed to haul our stuff a considerable distance down rocky stairways to get to reception. To make matters worse my husband was sick. This was the low point of our trip. The building structures were lovely but the service was lacking. Finishing touches just were not there even tho hot water bottles were deliver ed. Try to get a taxi it Yanque- interesting place to walk about.

Reclamo de forma de pago por la estadia

Tengo que manifestar mi desacuerdo con la política de pago, ya que fui con un grupo familiar y reserve 2 días, pero en el primer día uno de los integrantes del grupo sufrió un accidente, en la poza termal y teníamos que regresar a AQP, pedi cancelar y me indicaron que la reserva era por dos días y se tenia que pagar completo, después de aceptar esto y proceder a pagar con mi tarjeta Diners no aceptaban el cobro en dolares y procedían al cambio en moneda local a un valor muy alto, esto me obliga a cancelar al contado en dolares , cada cliente debe tener la opción de pago en cualquier moneda mas si es turista!
