Clean room Fresh smell upon arrival which i love… esp. smoking room! It had a modern feel … had to freshen up heater (may have been off a while) after that no issue. Good hot water. All essentials included fridge fresh and no scents… blow dryer… 9 out of 10. 5 stars from me!

Chicago
We stayed a couple of days. The room was clean and smelled clean was just right for the purpose. There were no bugs and was rather quiet. If I had to visit Chicago again in same area I would chose this motel for my needs it was cheap but cleaner than most budget motels I have stayed at.
The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and welcoming. The hot tub was a great addition to the room. It was a smoking room we were booked in, but the staff were very helpful in providing a liquid spray to get rid of any smoking odors in the room since we were non-smokers. The hotel was very reasonably priced for the amenities provided in the room. My only suggestion would be to include a coffee maker in the room.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The staff were very attentive and professional. The rooms were clean. However, I would say the pillows and beds were not the most comfortable. Otherwise it was a pretty good deal for the money.

Owners are friendly. I examined two rooms (because I failed to specify non-smoking) and the amenities were not consistent, e.g., assortment of bathroom supplies. Good internet connection. Fairly poor lighting. Inadequate # of electrical outlets; had trouble finding 2 that worked. (Two of outlets were so loose that my plugs did not stay in.)

look, you get what you pay for. its fine if you just need a place to sleep but will be out all day. its clean. bed average. infrastructure of the building okay, but its run down- what do you expect though? its a motel. as long as there are no bugs then i was fine. internet and tv with plenty of channels to keep you occupied before going to bed. again dont come if youre looking for a stay cation. only stay here if you are tight on budget and need a quick place to sleep. its about 30 min drive from all the fun attraction on michigan ave.

Good value, but depends what you’re sensitive to
I stayed from Friday to Monday. My room was moderately run down, but functional and pretty clean. The bathroom had a modern, powerful toilet and good water pressure in the shower, but no fan (so I kept the door open). The room had a fridge and microwave, both of which I made use of, but no coffee maker. The bed was firm and I slept well on it. The AC unit worked well to keep the room cool. Laminate/tile floors (no carpet). There was some outdoor noise, but not enough to prevent sleep. Some small bugs around the bathroom/sink area that didn’t really bother me. I didn’t use the TV.
My biggest complaint would be that the room had a smoky smell. I can be sensitive to that, but it wasn’t bad enough to trigger my allergies. One other thing to note is that they had a new fire alarm system installed, but the old smoke detector was still on the wall with no battery, so that was a little concerning at first until I noticed the other system.
Overall it was a good value for the money and I’d stay there again, maybe trying a different room type if available (I only had one option).
