For those interested in history this home was owned by Governor Stanley K. Hathaway. Stanley Knapp Hathaway was an American politician who served as the 27th Governor of Wyoming from 1967 to 1975, and would later serve as United States Secretary of the Interior under President Gerald Ford from June 12 to October 9, 1975.

Interesting and Comfortable Overnight Stay

Roomy and uniquely-decorated. Sad that we were only there overnight .. would have appreciated more time in this historic house. Well-equipped property and comfortable main bed. Would stay here again.

Exactly what we needed!

My whole family was impressed and excited to stay here. It is SO CLEAN, the decor is whimsical but classy, and we really enjoyed the layout as it provided everyone their own space and privacy. The hot tub was a super huge bonus! Communication with our host was easy and quick

Great place for a quiet weekend away. Plenty to do in Cheyenne but even better to hang out at the cozy home in the afternoon and evening. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Overall excellent!

The property is very nice and comfortable. We had 4 gals and we were all very comfortable. The Property Maanager was fantastic and very responsive. We will rent again for next year.

A very interesting property

Large, clean and comfortable home. On site parking. Nice area. Downstairs area dark due to one window but lots of lights. Patchy Wi Fi. Overall a good stay with lots of interesting decorations.

Perfect place!

This home and neighborhood is just as advertised and reviewed. Very cool home! Comfortable and great in every aspect. Walking distance from cool downtown Cheyenne eateries and coffee. Loved it! We were visiting our daughter at CSU in FT Collins. We’d love to come back again!

Hathaway House

This home was very nice and could easily room 6+ adults and even a couple/3 kiddos! Full living quarters in the basement with a gorgeous soaking tub and fenced yard. The sun room (under construction) is a definite plus! I would not hesitate to book this winner again! Thank you to Jay for help with WiFi and for being so nice. Hope your Dad made it home from the hospital.

Quiet/clean

The quirky steam punk decor was a delight. The street was VERY quiet and parking out front was easy. Jay stopped by because the emails were not going thru. Mandy and Jay were wonderful hosts and were available if needed. The home was cozy. The bedding was nice and beds very comfortable. The internet worked quite well, too. Would definitely stay here again. Cleanliness is my highest priority and this home met my picky standards. Thanks again, Mandy and Jay

Birthday weekend

Our daughter’s birthday was the same weekend as parents weekend at UW so we had to find a place for the family to stay in Cheyenne instead of Laramie. This place was super easy to get to and what a fun and interesting place!!! It was not like a regular house but had rooms on different levels, unique decor and everything we needed. We all travelled from room to room picking out our favorite decor item and item we found the most unique or spooky! Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but that would have been fun. Obviously lots of time and energy put into this property! Thank you!
