A lovely resort. The pool is exceptional. Very clean with nice private bungalows. The food was good and there were excellent touches such as a bird watching walk, and afternoon tea. Delicious food in the restaurant. Beach was very nice.

Amazingly beautiful property and very eco friendly. Extremely polite and helpful staff. Very friendly and accomodative, including the security folks Always ready to help with a warm smile. They even arranged a last minute decorations for my sister and her husband as it was their anniversary. Very clean and beautiful property. The ayurveda spa is very good and all the massages were very relaxing and suggested by the inhouse Doctor who was very friendly. I totally recommend the property for all. Worth the money spent.

Simply Wonderful.

This place is about as amazing as it gets. Very well planned out with each cottage having the necessary privacy. The attention to nature does not go unnoticed and must say the team at Marari Beach Resort CGH have set a great example and standard for eco tourism. The staff are simply brilliant and each and everyone from security to housekeeping to customer service, hospitality and life gaurds get a 10 on 10 star rating. We will return here for sure.

Poor - terrible for the price.

500 bucks a night for a pool villa is a joke. The pool villas are in the worst part of the ‘resort.’ Furthest from the beach There is a beach but no beach chairs. Beach chairs are 200 meters back in the thicket. Hotel staff could not give me a reason why. Restaurant was, maybe, 3 Star. ‘Prawns’ were tiny shrimp - no more than half an inch diameter. This is not a joke or an exaggeration. Demographic is middle class British, cost conscious, perhaps yoga - meditation - my body is my temple kind of crowd. Again, at US$ 500 a night, a complete rip-off

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at Marari Beach but wish we could have stayed longer as we loved the location, spa and pleasant staff. All the staff was very helpful and made our stay wonderful. Greatly enjoyed the massages, food and private cooking lesson. The beds were a little too hard for my back but otherwise our stay was excellent.

Great Hotel

Our stay at the Marari Beach Resort was very comfortable. The rooms are big, spacious and very clean. The kids enjoyed the beach and the pool very very much. I must say that the beach is very clean and has hardly any people so you have it almost to yourselves. The staff were very courteous and make you feel welcome. Overall a good experience. The interconnected rooms that we were given was a big plus for us.

Relaxing peaceful resort by the right by the beach

Marari Beach was a very welcome introduction as the first stop on our first visit to Kerala and indeed India. The staff were attentive and helpful. The grounds are large, peaceful, with individual huts for rooms. Accommodation was very clean, stylish and quiet, the beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the partly outdoor bathrooms (still very private!) Lovely veranda overlooking a small lake which a variety of birds would visit. Our room was right by the pool. The pool was one of the highlights: large, warm, and with a wonderful view through coconut palms to the beach beyond. Paradise! We ate at the hotel mostly, the local vegetarian dishes were delicious, however, we were travelling with our daughter who also had a choice of western food which was important to us. The only downside in our view is it felt quite remote from the hustle and bustle of the local village. However, the hotel do offer guided tours and there were bikes available too.
