One of the best hotels to stay at while in Chania Town. The premises exude a very pleasing, cozy feel while the hosts make you feel right at home, and are some of most friendly and accommodating people you will meet on all your travels. We arrived on a very late flight and they had a taxi prepared to meet us at the airport and even went so far as to check us in at 2am! The breakfast offered by Socrates is not to be missed, as it will probably be one of the best meals you will experience in all of Crete during your stay. This is the perfect family-run boutique hotel, and Rena goes out of her way to make you wish to return every year (which we just might!) Thank you again to all the staff, we cannot wait to come back :)

I don’t think I’ve ever met a friendlier staff that also provides a great hotel. The rooms are large, clean, affordable, and in a perfect location. But again, the staff is so kind and go out of their way. Their little touches make it above expectations. I will definitely be booking this hotel again.

jederzeit sehr gerne wieder :-)

Die Lage ist perfekt :-), mittendrin, aber trotzdem sehr ruhig im Haus. Mehrere Lokale in unmittelbarer Nähe. Tolle Unterstützung in Sachen Tourenplanung , Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Chania und Umgebung. Frühstück wird frisch für die Gäste (im selben Raum) zubereitet und in einem "4-Gänge Menü" perfekt präsentiert und genauestens erklärt (Herkunft der Produkte, Herstellung etc) ;-). Hierbei vorab die Abfrage nach Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten - TOP! Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten und frühstücken wollen. Es war eine tolle Zeit. Im Zimmer sind Fön und Kühlschrank vorhanden und es gibt die Möglichkeit Tee und Kaffee zuzubereiten. Danle nochmal an das gesamt Team: ihr seid super...weiter so.

" Treated like family"

Our second time staying here in 3 years. Great central location in a beautiful street. We were made feel so welcome by Rena and had gourmet breakfasts prepared by her husband Socrates that we will remember for a long time. The room was spacious clean, and the bed comfortable. Our hosts have created a unique atmosphere here, that is the key. The owners and family( Maddo, forgive spelling) were extremely helpful in recommendations for local restaurants and sights. This was a big plus. We will be back!

Kind owners + memorable breakfast = pleasant stay!

Rena and her sister were so friendly, welcoming, and professional, they really care about their customers! They made me feel special and very at ease from the first seconds. And Socrates, so gifted as a multilingual chef - do not miss the breakfast, it is probably the best you'll experience in Chania, a proper culinary experience with so many fresh and diverse, original ingredients. Lastly, the location is perfect, the room was very well isolated and comfortable. I stayed only one night but would not hesitate to book there again.

Have done an extensive amount of traveling and stays, and Hanim Lounge and Studios by far and above makes my top 3 places I've ever stayed, and may well take the top spot. Family run, hosts were incredible, took so much time to help us plan our trip in Crete and accomodate anything we needed. They were so kind and treated us like friends. I would stay here 100/100 times if I came back to Crete. They had a huge impact on how much my husband and I loved Crete, cannot give enough rave reviews!

The staff are tremendous; I got lost in the city having rented a car, the owner Socrates cane and found me helped me park the car and took me back to the hotel. We had to move hotels due to availability and Socrates’ wife walked us to the new hotel approx 500m away and helped carry our luggage - unbelievable! Breakfast is Michelin Star quality, it’s an absolute delight and a bargain at 10euros per head. Don’t miss it!!!!

I booked this hotel through hotel.com & got a confirmation email. The next day, my day of arrival, I got 3 cancellation notices from them before noon. I only had WIFI for 15 min at noon so I had to scramble to get another reservation somewhere else. Upon arriving at the other hotel and reconnecting to WiFi, this hotel tried to rebook me later that day then claimed I was a “no show” refusing to refund my money. Hotel.com requested the refund for me and it was denied.

Absolutely amazing stay at hanim, it made our trip to Chania even more special. The rooms are beautiful and it's right in the heart of the old town, but above all it's the staff that go above and beyond to make you feel special and help out in every way they can. They welcomed us with dessert and wine, helped us with our baggage, helped plan an amazing itinerary over the 4 days we were in Chania, and just knew everything we would need and like. They are just so knowledgeable, helpful and hospitable.
