would definitely recommend

Helpful friendly staff, comfortable room with efficient air conditioning and little hob and fridge. 5 min walk to beach and about 15-20 min walk to old harbour.

Posizionato comodo per andare fuori città ma non vicinissimo al centro. Un buon quarto d’ora a piedi di cammino per arrivare al centro storico. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Camera spaziosa ma senza comodini o altro appoggio vicino al letto e con letto stretto. Bagno da revisionare: water e doccia nello stesso spazio, doccino senza supporto per attaccarlo al muro. Comodo balcone con stendino.

Vi havde et dejligt ophold, med en venlig og imødekommende værtinde. Lejlighedens toilet var meget lille og slidt. Terrassen er fin, men ville man have ro, måtte man være indenfor med lukket dør, da den vender ud til en rundkørsel og en servicestation. Der var til gengæld en fantastisk tag-terrasse , hvor man kan nyde en storslået udsigt over til bjergene og en smuk solnedgang.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Not only do you get a full apartment for a reasonable price but the location is prime. Only a 7ish minute walk to old town and 5 mins to the beach.

Hotellet ligger ved en sterkt trafikkert gate som medførte mye støy. Bensinstasjon rett overfor hotellet gav også støy og lukt. I etasjen over våre rom hadde hotellet valgt og renovere et rom i den perioden vi bodde der. Arbeidet startet tidlig morgen og til tider svært ubehagelig. VC/dusj trangt/gammelt. Vil ikke velge dette hotellet flere ganger pga trafikkstøy og lukt fra bensinstasjon.

Not a fan. Particularly of the location: which I found very poor. Advice: book short stays, and decide there and then. I experienced more the outskirts of a not so upscale urban periphery than Chania's seaside or old town charm. VIEW from my balcony, immediately below, was a high traffic, hence noisy, road, and Shell gas station with a shack immediately on its side. The walk to the beach was not 5 minutes, maybe double if you walk as fast as I do [Bonus: on the right side you can admire some cars left to rust in a nearby field and a very messy walking side: pictures available]. I realised that I had booked the wrong type of place [in too much of a hurry] almost immediately; I had checked in an almost brain dead state after a full night of sleepless travel and was unable to walk away there and then. Plus, I thought that the 24 hours Expedia cancellation rule still applied, but apparently it didn't: I tried to negotiate my way out - of what was not exactly the place were I wanted to spend my only true vacation this year [given that prices in way more attractively located places were similar if not lower] - and I offered to pay for a cleaning, while no reasonable penalty was offered: none of my prepaid seven nights were going to be refunded; I mentioned feeling "imprisoned"; and eventually lost my patience. Decided to stay because I did not want to add financial damage to the disappointment I experienced. While there, it took three day to see my bathroom math moved or changed.

The host is very nice and helpful, however, room was very noisy from traffic on main road. Room was clean and had all amenities required including a small bottle of raki to help forget the noise.

Appartamento pulito e confortevole,

L'appartamentino che abbiamo affittato era piccolo, ma dotato di ogni confort e molto pulito. La posizione ottima (a 300 metri da una spiaggia molto gradevole e a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Chania); unica pecca il bagno, che seppure perfettamente funzionante risultava vecchio e con una doccia minuscola. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato tante informazioni molto utili su cosa visitare nella zona. C'è anche la possibilità di partecipare (a pagamento) a gite organizzate nelle spiagge più belle e persino a Cnosso o Santorini (non abbiamo partecipato in quanto avevamo la macchina a noleggio, ma è comunque una possibilità interessante per chi preferisce non noleggiare). Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo, lo terrò presente quando tornerò a Chania...Consigliatissimo!

God beliggenhed, men dårligt værelse

Lejligheden lå tæt på både strand, strandpromenade og Chania centrum, hvilket var dejligt. Vi skulle bo 3 i et værelse, så vi måtte selv være med til at udfolde og rede seng nr. 3 ved ankomsten, hvilket ikke virkede så gæstfrit. Rengøring var kun 1 gang ugentligt, så sidst på ferien var der ulækkert beskidt overalt på gulvene og ekstremt snavsede håndklæder i hedebølgen. Det hjalp så heller ikke, at airconditionen lækkede vand (kondens vil jeg tro) i stride strømme ude på vores lille altan mod gården, så vi frygtede at glide på de glatte fliser og naturligvis fik slæbt vand med ind på værelset, så sandet blev til snask. Jeg tror, det var meningen, at vi selv skulle vaske gulv og selv skulle gå ned på vejen til nærmeste skraldevogn med skraldet, men i så fald ville jeg gerne have været varslet om dette, for så ville det have været et andet sted, vi ville bo.

The best hotel/apartments in Chania

I had an amazing stay at Chania Apartments. The hospitality and service offered by the staff were extraordinary to say the least. For example, since I traveled on my own and I do not want to get sunburned, they were kind enough to put sun protection on my back several times a day with out any compliants. Regarding the rooms, they were fully equipt making the stay really comfortable. Furthermore, the location was great with walking distance to the city centre, beach, supermarkets, gym and restaurants. That being sad, if you go to Chania I would obviously recommend Chania Apartments.

Ottima posizione, appartamento nella sufficienza

Ottima posizione, personale cordialissimo appartamento mediocre... segnalo solamente una cucina poco fornita di pentole ma la cosa peggiore era L odore provenente dalle tubature dell appartamento. Noi dovevamo tenere la porta del bagno chiusa a causa di questo. Per il resto ottima base d appoggio per dormire e farsi la cena... un appartamento sufficiente per queste esigenze!

Mysigt boende med fantstisk personal.

Super bra boende, fantastisk service. De hjälpte oss med allt och gav oss tillochmed en en extra natt. De var jätte gulliga mot oss och vi var hel nöjda. Nära till både stranden och centrum.

Lovely little place

Is smaller than images but considering you are out on holiday all the time this did not matter at all. Clean, friendly, close to beach and cafe for breakfast. White mountains visible in distance, based on main road so quite some noise but we really didnt mind. Loved it. Helpful staff for booking tours /taxis back to airport.
