Unique place to stay in the San Louis Valley. Ample parking, clean and stylish lodging, nice bathrooms, and a fantastic community area/kitchen. It is also close to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. You can the mountains in all directions.

What a cool place! Not a typical single building with rooms but separate individual places with modern design. Easy parking, clean and comfortable.

Really fun spot! We stayed in a yurt - the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and updated. The temperature control was quite tricky with the pellet stove. But overall, I would recommend!

Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic overnight stay at Frontier! The area was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the patio and the close proximity to the Sand Dunes. We'll be back soon!

This is such an awesome hidden gem! Warching a movie under the stars was absolutely magical. The kitchen was clean and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend!

Cool place. Nicely decorated. I had been initially worried about cold, but the suite was VERY warm and has radiant heat in the floor. My only suggestion would be to add a mini fridge in the suite.

Very fun stay! We stayed in one of the yurts. A lot more fancy than I was expecting. Very tastefully decorated with a great pellet stove that made it very cozy. The bath house was very clean and easy to access. We would recommend this for a fun and unique experience that is a little off the beaten path.

This was such a fun stay. I stayed In one of the Yurts. Beautifully decorated, plenty of room and steps to the super clean bathroom. The location is perfect for visiting the Sand Dunes. How fun to watch a movie with popcorn and fellow travelers. Highly recommend!

Fancy yurts don’t hurt

It was a nice little retreat! Very cool, in the middle of one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. Easy to get to wolf creek, dunes , crestone, etc. 10/10 would stay there again . No movies sunday -Thursday, but still a very cool place non-the less! Also the pellet stove in the yurt kind of rules , will keep you very warm all night!

We booked for the drive inn and were not aware that it only plays certain nights. The rooms were clean. The site is under construction with little signage so it wasn't clear where to park and the construction noise started promptly at 7 a.m. While it has potential long-term, I have no desire to return.
