We were happy with our accomodations. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The handle on sink faucet was loose but we managed. Decent place.

There was no one in the office when we arrived. Had to call number taped to door. Employee cam came over and struggled with the card machine. I needed to help him with buttons to push. He was very friendly and helpful. Gave us key to room and when I opened door, room smelled strongly of smoke and only had 1 bed. I had booked a 2 bed room as I was traveling with my daughter. Employee was able to move us to another room with two beds. This one smelt better but could still smell smoke. Bathroom had good water pressure but there were numerous hairs on the shower wall and soap scum. Way over-priced for a motel that was smelly and marginally clean. Would not stay again or recommend.

Great experience

The people who are running the business are great! I Ran into a small problem, ( with my shower head, ) and reported it. It was fixed in a very timely manner. All smiles and sincerity. Very pleasant experience. Would definitely go there again

Would not stay here again for free...

Stayed in room 8. Arrived in the evening, couple that welcomed us was pleasant enough. Broken window noticed on arrival (outer pane only). Door knob was only lock - no chain or bolt. Did not feel at all secure. Interior walls were filthy. Smoke detector battery was disconnected. Hair in bathtub. Sheets and bedspread were clean, but had burn holes. If there had been anything else available in a 50 mile radius we would not have stayed.

Not the newest or fanciest of hotels, but clean and neat. Check in was easy. It sits back from the road, so it was quiet. There is a gas station with a convenience store right next to the property, and a pizza shop across the street. We especially enjoyed being able to drive right up and park by the door!

A dissapointment

The room was mostly clean but there were a couple of things that were unacceptable 1. 2 of the lamps in the room did not work. The one between the beds could only be operated by plugging or unplugging it. 2. There were none of the standard amenities such as complimentary coffee or tea. 3. There was a dead rat in the parking lot as we were leaving in the morning.

The room smelled of smoke- even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. It was bad enough that I had a hard time sleeping. The bedspreads need to be discarded and replaced. If it had a good cleaning, it would have been a decent stay.

Friendly easy checkin. Room clean and warm. It was 3 below so coming in to heat was a wonderful thing. Only downside- have to walk across parking lot to gas station for coffee. Wish it could be made in the room.
