"The legend of the farm and fountains are fun, the grounds are very interesting, the indoor pool was fun, the outdoor pool closed for the season, the staff was excellent, both friendly and very informative and helpful."

"Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent service and a fantastic location—very close to everything. The only downside is that parking is limited. Also, be aware that the food at the hotel restaurant is extremely salty. However, that seems to be a common theme throughout Portugal, except in the Douro Valley region for some reason."

"This is an extraordinary place just like the photo. I was greeted with sparkling wine and cake and offered the whole bottle the following day. It is in a very challenging place in old Coimbra so you need to be reasonably fit although another lovely lady walking her dog helped me out the next night when i was lost"
