The owner was at the front desk. He was super nice and very friendly. I was on a motorcycle, he allowed me to park it in a covered area and places me in a room that was very close to that area. Rooms were clean and the bed was great. In the morning he made sure to tell me that coffee was ready and offered to let me fill a travel mug if i wanted. Would highly recommend

This hotel is always quiet, the employees are friendly and polite. If there's an issue thry try to fix it right away. Our TV didn't work and they came and fixed as quickly as possible.

Drive to the door Carthage motel

The room was clean and comfortable, and not too far from Carthage center. It was a drive to the door motel on one level which is very handy. There was a lovely family restaurant within a 10 minute walk from the motel, and a mexican just over the road.

1 king bed, non-smoking room. Wall mounted window A/C unit that worked great. Room was VERY clean, staff incredibly friendly and welcoming, very easily accessible location, reasonable amount of parking. We came for a wedding and stayed 4 nights. The only thing I can think to complain about is that the bathroom window is the only ventilation for the shower, which didn't cause any issue for us but might in colder months. Full size mini fridge with freezer, Microwave, TV, decent wifi. When we left the owner told us we should come back next time. We will! Genuinely better experience than some higher priced hotels I've been to. For one thing, my room card worked flawlessly every time which is an issue we have had on multiple occasions.

Fair price, comfy bed, nice owners

Comfy bed, recently remodeled room. Nice not to have carpet. AC unit is loud, need a hook behind the door for hanging stuff. A small shelf would be nice next to bed between bathroom wall. Road noise can be heard and anything going on at gas station next door. We are in non smoking room but ppl smoke right outside our room and smoky air get sucked into our room by the AC unit. Smokers should walk farther away.

Overall good value for the price.

The the room was pretty basic but it was clean and had been recently renovated. The bed was comfortably firm and even had lace edged sheets. Like every old motel you could pick up a hint of old smoke smell even though the room is now non-smoking. The lady at the front desk was polite and spoke English well enough.

TV Remote didn’t work. Our host kindly offered ti move us to a different room, but we declined, sunce we had already unpacked. Perhaps there were blankets in a drawer, but the beds only had a sheet and thin bedspread. We were really cold, so we turned up the heat. Unfortunately, it was really loud!

The motel needs remodeling. Was asked to leave a cash deposit and it was returned after inspection of the room. The refrigerator was replaced because it was not working. The manager allowed us to park our motorcycles under the car port so that was nice. The bathroom didn't look very clean because it was old. All the rooms are facing the center of the place and it's located at a busy street.
