Rústico, mas confortável com bom custo/benefício

O hotel é simples, mas com atrativos bem legais como sala de tv, redes em frente ao quarto, cozinha, quintal muito bonito e arborizado, bar com bebidas locais no último andar com vista para Torices e geladeira (que devido ao movimento não consegue gelar muito). O quarto não tem ar-condicionado, mas os dois ventiladores grandes e potentes dão conta parcial do recado. O lado negativo é apenas o chuveiro, pois é apenas um cano, mas com água em abundância. Os funcionários são sempre muito solícitos e realista quanto ao seu bairro e entorno que não é um dos mais seguros, por isso sempre nos alerta sobre problemas do passado. Entretanto não é um Hotel, mas sim uma casa de pessoas locais transformada em hostel, portanto não queira a comodidade de um hotel 3 estrelas no centro da cidade pelo valor a ser pago ( no mínimo 3x menor), seja realista e honesto. O acesso para o centro histórico fica em 8000 a 9000 COP a exatos 10 minutos de carro em qualquer hora do dia e existe taxi na rua o dia todo em grande volume.Obs.: Cartagena é uma bagunça para endereço em qualquer ponto, portanto sempre lembre de falar que quer ir para o bairro de Torices na rua do posto de gasolina (bomba em espanhol).

Good Hostel - great staff - but poor location

Das Hostel selber ist echt gut, der Besitzer und sein Team sind sehr hilfsbereit. Der Preis ist für Cartagena gut, aber die Lage ist für Leute, die jeden Tag in die Altstadt wollen, nicht so geeignet. Man sagte uns, dass es sich sogar zu Tageszeit nicht empfiehlt mit einem Tagesrucksack heruaszugehen, geschweige denn mit einer Kamera usw.

Miscommunication

Expedia didn't clarify at first I could not prepay, messy check in because I had to run around to get cash. No gas to cook, a terrible animal urine smell coming out of the room, but they insisted I slept there. Cleaning staff nice and friendly! Thumbs up for her sweetness and because of her my review is acceptable.
