BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS HOTEL.
This was a terrible experience. I can’t even complete a review about the standard of the property because I arrived at the hotel at 10pm. It was locked. There were no lights on and no one was answering the phone when I called. I was effectively left in a not particularly safe part of town, with nowhere to stay. I then had to go and find another hotel in the middle of the night.
When eventually I got a response from the hotel to numerous messages I left on the Expedia app, the hotel wrote an incredibly long explanation, effectively telling me check in is between 10am and 6pm and that this is stated somewhere in their terms and conditions! That is about as helpful as a kick in the face. There was no attempt to offer any kind of refund. But the point is not the refund anyway. The point is the hotel really had no regard for the safety of its guests if they simply leave them on the street in the middle of the night and then just tell them ‘It’s written in our terms and conditions’.
As I say, I can’t comment on the quality of the hotel as I never got to stay there. As I say, BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS HOTEL. Make sure you check in before 6pm. If you arrive later than that, you will literally be left outside in the dark.
