"Hotel overall was nice and I had a nice view over looking the pool and ocean"

"Staff was very courteous, fun, and outgoing, they were very helpful throughout. Always sharing a smile, a beverage, and answering questions. Rooms were decent. Always clean but humidity crept in with some moisture/mildew faint at times. Went between AC and open doors to bring in air. Food was pretty good. Had to use your phone and their app for all the menus though…was hard to fully disconnect for a vacation. Beach was pristine. They kept the beach clean and seaweed was constantly cleaned up."

"My wife and I stayed at Grand Hyatt in mid May. The resort is beautiful and the staff is great. Our room was large and very clean/modern and incl a small refrigerator and Keurig. We chose the cheaper king fountain view room, but the view is beautiful, esp at night when the fountain is lit up. Our package through Expedia included free flights and a room in the “Reserve” section at Grand Hyatt which is very nice and included free breakfast and happy hour buffets with free beer, wine and Champagne every night from 5:00-7:30! Breakfast included 4 hot entrees plus a big selection of breads, bagels, fruit, coffee, juice. Happy hour buffet was even nicer and included 4 hot appetizers, sushi rolls, homemade hummus, meats, cheese, breads, salads, and deserts. It was enough for a nice free dinner if you wanted to save some money. There is a free water park and multiple pools that are all beautiful but some are reserved access. We had no trouble getting lounge chairs at the pools since we were there in mid May. The restaurants are generally very nice but require advanced reservations. Our favorites were Marcus, ShuangBa and Pizza Lab. The food is expensive at the nicer restaurants but there are cheaper options avail. Our best dinners were off property at Meze Grill and Sapodilla Estate - short cab ride, great food and much less expensive. The worst part of Baha Mar is the drink prices. Plan on $20-$28/drink and $10/beer. Bring 2 liquor bottles with you for around the pool."

"The room was very mediocre. Looks like the pictures but worn. Coach had paint all over it and cushions looked worn. Tub on balcony (one of the main selling features) didn’t work. Called for repair, they came but were unable to fix the issue so there was no tub, just the bathroom shower. Turnover service was so difficult to get. We left the room at appx 8:00am and returned at appx 4’ish and the room hadn’t been touched. I called to get someone to come clean the room and it took almost 2 hours. We left and returned and had to call them back for towels. The staff…racist. I felt it during most of my stay. There were 6 people out of at least 50 that were actually pleasant. To the point I had to tip them tremendously to show my appreciation. I asked someone at the front counter to translate something and she told me, “you’re in a Spanish speaking country, you can’t read that?” So instead of snatching her from behind the counter, I asked google and walked away. The resort was a 7/10 with the staff and the amenities being the biggest issue. Pretty beach and pretty resort. I would go again but would def match energy next time. "

"The room was clean. When we requested to change our sheets and touch up the bathroom; we will ask to leave out of the room. That's the first time we had to leave out at any resorts or hotels to touch up the room. The receptionist, entertainment, and some of the dining staffs ( Jameila and Lamar) was pleasant and professional. The beach view was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious."

"Waitress on the pool and beach missing almost , entertaining of the pool loud , noises, leavening with headaches. The resort , clean , staff helpful, nice , food okay . I will be back for sure !"
