Large apartment of character with private courtyard.

Very nice quiet apartment of 110 sqm, in building of character with stained glass windows, moldings, high ceilings, beautiful volumes. Completely renovated for 6 to 8 people. 1 bedroom with 140 bed, 1 bedroom with 2 beds 140, sofa bed 140 in the living room, 1 large bathroom with Italian shower. Separate WC.
You will stay in Square Gambetta, ideally located 10 minutes walk from the medieval city and 5 minutes from the city center. In summer the municipal pool is 10 minutes walk along the banks of the Aude quietly
Free parking 2 minutes or fee just in front of the apartment. Station 10 minutes walk. Airport shuttle 2 minutes.
You will find everything necessary for a pleasant stay: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, sheets and towels provided, kitchen.
A private and shaded courtyard of 35mÂČ will welcome you for a moment of relaxation after enjoying our beautiful region.

Beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped spacious apartment in a perfect location between the CitĂ© and Bastide — cafĂ©s and restaurants just steps away. Yes, it’s a little dark and one bedroom faces the street, which does mean you can hear some traffic noise, but those are small trade‑offs for the charm, comfort, free parking, and very friendly host.

Well located, near old city and main shopping, short walk to train and canal du midi. Host was responsive to queries.Improvements, outside area to be swept and chairs cleaned, plus solar lighting on stairs would be safer when coming back in the dark.

The property itself was lovely and I would stay there again. However although it is advertised with WiFi and I could see a booster, I didn't get a password for the WiFi before hand and did not get a response from the owner even after messaging them twice

Fabulous place to stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is located close to the town and to the cite - so you can walk to both for a great holiday. It has a lovely outdoor area which was sunny but cool and the house was a haven from the hot weather. The check in and check out process were easy and as explained beforehand. Thank you - we will be coming back again to visit.

Lovely time in Carcassonne

Wonderful location close to the town and a short walk to the old bridge to go the cite. Perhaps a bit dark but the evenings were fine.

Carcassonne- Gateway to south of france

Location is excellent. We rented a car and travelled to Monticello Carlo, Cannes, and Marseille. Visited several wine houses in the area Limouix etc. Recommend Le Table de la Vatican and Le Divine Comedie near the rental. The rental is large and building old which offers character and takes you back in time But it needed to be aired out-musty; it was cold but host was unable to change and no smart tv. Overall, a good place to stay

Carcasonne weekend

The apartment is in an excellent location. We had 2 nights and we could walk to the castle city within 10-12 minutes and we were also near to the city centre the other side and had a lovely tapas meal out .

Lovely

We had a lovely stay , only one concern were the lumpy cushions used for pillows, other than that the apartment was clean , spacious ,and well located. Beautiful details , especially the shower !

Great location and quirky apartment

Stayed for 3 nights in May 2024. The apartment is really quirky, well serviced and contains all you need for a short stay. The location is excellent 3 mins walk from the bridge to the old town and 3 mins from the new town centre with its lovely shops and restaurants. There is a little road noise in the front bedroom. The outside space wasn’t really usable for my family.

Good location

Location is excellent - 20 minute walk to old city. Rooms are large. Living and dining area good, bedrooms not so good. Bedroom with 2 doubles was dark and not especially clean. Very strange bedding all of which is old and needs replacing. Pillows were awful. Electrical sockets in unhelpful places. Kitchen well equipped. Outside space could be charming but it was dirty and had poor quality furniture. Needs an upgrade. Towels were also limited in supply and poor quality.

Schöne Wohnung. Sie ist sehr groß und bietet viel Platz. Sie ist etwas dunkel und eines der Schlafzimmer geht direkt zur Straße. Bei offenem Fenster entsprechend lauter.

Die Wohnung ist genauso wie auf den Bildern beschrieben, wirklich außergewöhnlich. Hohe Decken, tolle Einrichtung - rundum schön und geschmackvoll und vor allem sehr sauber. Es handelt sich aber um eine Souterrain-Wohnung, es ist daher nicht so hell wie auf den Bildern und die Fenster lassen sich nur bedingt öffnen. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz befindet sich auf dem Hof oder auch eine bewachte Tiefgarage direkt vor dem Haus unter dem Park (natĂŒrlich gegen GebĂŒhr). Wir waren dort um die Tour de France zu sehen und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Emplacement idéal

Logement propre, trÚs spacieux, bien équipé et idéalement placé pour visiter la Cité et la Bastide.Chambre 2 personnes archi calme. Chambre 4 places cÎté rue, moins calme. Un peu sombre en hiver, mais probablement assez frais l'été.

Logement vraiment spacieux pas du tout déçue ! Quelques petits bémols néanmoins qui aurait pû rendre le séjour parfait comme le micro onde qui n'était pas nettoyé et vraiment trÚs sale que nous avons dû nettoyer à fond pour faire chauffer les biderons de notre enfant, la chaleur dans les chambres et la literie plutÎt bof, les produits à disposition qui était périmés qu'on a dû racheter pour nous mais sinon séjour agréable

PrĂ©voir demander d’avance une serviette Ă  mains pour la salle de bain. Le stationnement est sĂ©curitaire, malgrĂ© qu’il ne soit pas contrĂŽlĂ©. Par consĂ©quent, il se peut que vous arriviez et qu’il n’y ait plus aucune place de disponible. Il y a cependant des endroits publics oĂč l’on peut se stationner, Ă  quelques minutes de marche. Sinon, tout Ă©tait parfait ! Sonia rĂ©pondait trĂšs rapidement Ă  nos questions et demandes.

Estancia de dos dias

Estuvimos con la familia. El piso muy acogedor. Muy céntrico y con bastante zona para poder aparcar aunque hay horas que hay que pagar. Las camas cómodas aunque las almohadas no mucho. La pena que solo tiene un WC. Nuestra valoración global un 8'5.
