"VRBO search led us to this spectacular-view property. Listed tips: ---*extremely* glad we had a 4WD vehicle, lots of unpaved/hole- and trench-laden roads. ---Specific arrival directions were not sent until our arrival day, so access was limited while traveling; we found them after arrival. ---Montezuma itself is a very small town with a few restaurants, Mini-supers and B&B/hostels, mostly surfers and some locals; we would hesitate to drive in there after dark (which happens at around 6:00 pm)...

"If you’re looking for ocean view privacy and a thriving local town within close proximity, book Vista Del Alma! Their breakfast menu is incredible, food and drinks are made from scratch, and each villa offers maximum privacy. Staff are extremely accommodating; the team helped my husband and I book transportation to/from the airport, renting an ATV, and listing local hotspots and restaurants to try. Tip: book a villa with a pool; you won’t be disappointed!"
