Gilbert looked after me very well at breakfast and as a coeliac it is a treat to be able to eat so well. Gilbert looked after me last year too and was so polite & helpful so remembered him straight away. All other staff members were very polite too."

"Very nice hotel Clean. Staff was nice. The plugs in the rooms are strange. There is no plug either British or American, bythe bedside. We had to get an extension cord for my CPAP machine. They did provide that but could use an electrical update"

"Breakfast gorgeous. Hotel was amazing. And the staff were incredible. My partner had an accident, tripped of her own accord. All the staff on that night were just amazing. I was in bits when the ambulances arrived and the staff really really looked after me. I can't thank them enough. My partner remains in a coma but is going to recover. The staff at the thistle hotel were trained in first aid and saved her life. Thistle hotels will be top of my list."
