"The room appeared pretty clean but quite a bit of things didn’t appear to be in good condition- parts of the curtains were broken making it a challenge to close them. The door didn’t appear to be well maintained- you could see the light from outside all the way around the door. The staff was very friendly at the front desk and the restaurant. We did enjoy the 88 restaurant- the portions were large and the food was good. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Although it is connected to the casino, I didn’t smell any smoke from the casino in the restaurant which I really appreciated. Our son enjoyed the game room and I appreciate that the smoke in the casino wasn’t too bad as we walked through to go to the game room. There also weren’t very many outlets and no usb or c cable ports for charging- this would be a nice touch since there are limited outlets. Since we were only staying overnight I wouldn’t say these concerns were deal breakers, but I would definitely call this a no frills sort of place. "

"Second time staying at this property. The room was clean and the beds were firm but comfortable. Breakfast was good. We stayed 3 nights and planned to use the swimming pool on one of the days, however, the old pool looked like it was gone due to the construction of a new pool and lazy river - the renderings looked amazing. Disappointed there was no signage informing guests it was still there and where to go - my fault for not asking earlier. We discovered the old pool was actually still available on the day we checked out. A staff member told me the normal enterance was just blocked off by construction fencing and fabric. There is another access to get to it from a different set of doors. I Should have asked earlier. The staff was great just wished at check-in they would have mentioned it or put up signage. We will be back when the construction of the new pool is completed. I will call first before booking next time."

"Once we figured out the hot tub it was hot enough. The pool was refreshing although the slide seemed to be inoperable. Rooms were clean, although it was a stretch to advertise as sleeping 12, especially with only 2 bathrooms. For adult males on a golf trip, each member wanted a room, so in our case it realistically slept 3 although one did sleep on the living room sofa. I realize it had 3 roll away beds in the garage, but the two mattresses in the closets were not realistic for an adult sleeping option. We enjoyed our stay, the neighborhood was quiet, and the central air allowed for comfort and relaxation after a day out in the hot sun. "
