The property owner is amazing !! I traveled by myself and she made me feel welcomed and also assisted on trip suggestions and arranged taxi rides for me.
The property was very clean, neat and cozy. The restaurant underneath my room was convenient and served amazing food . The location was perfect for my stay
Amazing coastal town and only a short drive from the major destinations in the Northern part of the island. Christine is a kind and attentive host that was very flexible and accommodating with check in times. Lee’s restaurant and bar, Love @ First Bite is incredible and he is a great guy. Very welcoming and relaxing town and lodging.
The Sandbar was a great location the night before our flight out. It's close to the airport, great beaches, and the chocolate factory.
The room itself was quiet and relaxing right near the beach and had a comfy bed and warm shower with good water pressure.
Our host, Christine, was fantastic! She was friendly, helpful, and even let us check out late so we could go to the beach and come back to shower before our flight.
We would definitely stay here again!
Friendly host, pleasant room, but note photo is for seafront appt!
Calibishe beach is very dirty with junk and builders rubbish dumps.
Local restaurants poor value
I liked my stay here. The staff was very helpful especially when looking to book excursions. The rooms were spacious. But there is no tv so it’s a good chance to get in touch with yourself. It’s right on a beach but it was windy so I didn’t get to enjoy it. They have a restaurant onsite but it was temporarily closed but there was another restaurant right next door. It not close to the business area but overall I enjoyed my stay it has a fantastic view. Real calming
The Sandbar was wonderful! The room was a bit stuffy when we stayed in July, but the view was AMAZING! The area was so fun too...and the beaches were gorgeous!
Christine and Garnet are absolutely lovely, funny and helpful. The sandbar is a cool place to relax and spend the evening, you should definitely try the homemade rums.
The room has everything and is decorated with details. Calibishi is a beautiful little little town, we enjoyed our time there. One hint: make sure you book the suite, this has the beautiful sea view and a cooking place. The smaller room has just a microwave.
Right on the beach. Friendly and helpful owners. Bed was hard for my wife but I slept fine. A bit noisy as it's also right on the street.

Good for a few nights
A good small place close to the beach. Close to the store where you find breakfast. The have a bar and have a meny for lunch/dinner - but I would choose some other restaurant. Expect noise from the street.
Great location, right on the beach. Bar was just reopening as we were leaving. Owners are super nice people. Calibishie is still recovering from the Maria, as is the whole island, but is doing better than most places. Note, no ATM in the town anymore.
The island continues to suffer, very few dining options and poorly maintained roads (no street lighting) but this property has tried hard to recover and is in safe surroundings
The hurricane last fall took down the internet infrastructure, which was very frustrating and didn't get updated on the listing, which still claims free wifi. The hotel was nice and the proprietors were lovely.
Thank you so much, Christine, for a wonderful stay in a wonderful place!
Liebevoll eingerichtete und dekorierte Zimmer, alles picobello sauber, eine aufmerksame Vermieterin.... und alles kurz nach Wirbelsturm Maria! Was will man mehr?
