Terrible service, grumpy & rude, wouldn't even call a cab for us, bathroom walls & ceiling stained, stale bagels for breakfast at least the bed was clean, horribly overpriced
The hotel staff were never present out front, and the crowd that hung out front of the entrance on a Friday night were sketchy. Was here for a sports tournament and my bf was glad he and our dog came and stayed with me. I didn't feel safe there at night, and I travel frequently. I usually give hotels generally positive reviews, but for this one, I'm hard pressed to. The room was outdated, spots on the ceiling and shower curtain in the bathroom, and the carpet was old and rolled up in one spot. It wasn't worth the lower price (in comparison to say, the Delta). I'd recommend paying extra to stay elsewhere.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Disappointed
No pool. No hot tub, nothing in the vending machines and no ice
The bed was comfortable enough, but there were hairs on the sheets, the room was dirty, and the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly. Not to mention the stains in the shower (I opted not to take one).

The front desk n staff was polite and helpful but the motel itself was old, not very clean and
not at all like what was expected from the web pictures or our experience at other Travel
lodges.
Room 1 - dirty, peeling paint, dark, cramped. Room 2- better bed, but cigarette burn on tub and bottm of tub finish was gone, baseboard pulling away/grub behind, broken dresser drawer. Lumpy, lifting, worn carpets in hallways. Broken, danderous entry sidewalk. We chose it for easy access to Spruce Meadows, but there are lots of better options.
very old and in need of a full upgrade. The whole place should be gutted. Carpet in the hallways and rooms so old it is rippled and has stretched so bad that it is a walking hazard. The showers and bathrooms could use a fumigator and a good scrubbing. If there had been an alternative, we would have walked out.
I wouldn't have chosen this hotel. I usually read the reviews first, but it was a quick trip.
The hotel is old. The exterior was cracking and the parking lot on the south side was a dead-end which meant I had to back all the way out the 2nd night. Plus we had to use the main entrance for the hotel.
The second night I parked on the north side, and there was a side entrance and more room.
There is a comedy club attached, so I wondered about the safety of my vehicle on the south side.
The parking spaces are narrow and the first morning, I had a tight squeeze getting in my vehicle.
Inside, it wasn't the feel of a place I wanted to stay at with my daughter.
We used the stairs to go up 2 floors, never used the elevators at all.
Our room was small, though I never usually get a room with 1 bed. There were burn marks on the side of the tub, but it seemed 'clean' enough for me to stay. The bed was comfy and I checked for bugs.
The a/c was loud, but I kept it on so I never heard any noises from outside the room.
Breakfast was as expected, but the 2nd morning the waffle maker was out of order and it was all we wanted there.
Pool was small, we looked at it, but never had time to use it. Seemed clean.
Service was much friendlier than a lot nicer hotels I've stayed in. The hallway carpets are all rippling and stained. There was a fair amount of dust at the carpeted corners of the rooms, bathrooms didn't look or feel Clean. Streaks in the tubs, drops of blood in one tub. We had rented 2 rooms to accommodate family, and they were equally as filthy. I found a used coffee cup and some other garbage behind the TV unit and along side of the bed in one room. The bed was the only thing that appeared clean to be honest. It wasn't cheap enough for the level of filth and I absolutely wouldn't take family back there.
By far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in! If they had given the room away for free, they will still be charging to much for this dump! Actually calling it a dump, insults landfills around the world! Pick any other hotel but this one or you will regret it!
The first thing we noticed when we entered the room was the 3 ft crack across the corner of the window caused by a bullet hole in the middle of the crack. That was our first clue.
The room was never cleaned properly; sheets were stained; there was a drug deal in the lobby and staff ignored it. Partying and loud noises all night that staff did nothing about.
Looks nice from outside but in the room was a disaster. Dirty is not even the right word to describe the room from a rotting moldy apple under the bed to a used towel still on the back of the bathroom door never mind the bathtub or the the light switch. Sticky bedside table and a window smeared with something.
terrible hotel rooms we had to switch rooms because things kept breaking and no one was there to help fix anything. The breakfast options were terrible and the kitchen staff was rude.
The hotel is in a good proximity to lots of stores but the hotel itself is old and could use some renovation. The room was small and the carpet was very old.
We did stay overnight but only because we had to pay anyway but I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone and I am shocked that you would even offer this hotel on your site. In future I would think twice before looking at the hotel's that you offer. I realize that you recommend reading reviews but you wonder sometimes if those that are posting reviews are just too picky.
Horrible, rooms were old and outdated, walls were incredibly thin, there was no hot water, bed sheets were dirty. We stayed for 5 mins and left to go to a different hotel.

It was a last minute booking and it was an excellent rate. I needed a place to hang my hat for a few hours of sleep and had a comfortable bed. The free breakfast was icing on the cake.
Very unfortunate that they keep this hotel open, while they wait until Oct to shut it down.
You would think Travel Lodge would like to keep a good name, I certainly will look for another hotel before going to another Travel Lodge.
This holel is showing its age, with poor maitenance. Toilet bowl shaky, El. fan noisy (once it starts), carpets worn in hallways only few Ice machines avail., had to go from 5th floor to main foor to get ice, just a few things noted during my stay.
