Hotel location is excellent. Hotel furniture's is very old and needs to be replaced. TV was very small and old. Light in room is poor. Hotel staff are very nice and friendly. Breakfast is ok. It was my first and last time to stay.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It met above and beyond my expectations. The whole staff was very helpful and sweet! The room was spacious and very clean with beautiful decor and great a/c. I am very happy to have stayed here and recommend it! Especially for the great prices, service, and rooms.

Stay somewhere else

Booked a royal single and got something much less and worse. I had a prepaid reservation and they did not have my room. Found hairs on the bed, no towels or toliet paper. None of the tv remotes had batteries or back for them. How do you expect them to work? Sink constantly dripped and made a noise and when you shower good luck the bathroom floods because there is no shower curtain the entire floor gets wet.

Terrible, don’t look other reviews, it’s look fake

We booked 2 bedroom hall for 3 days . It was not available when we reach there . They provide one single room with two bed and very far another room for our 3 kids . I don’t except it . The hotel is in 6 th floor and very very old lift which is not work properly.The rooms are very dirty , bathroom door not closing . We don’t get wifi for all our stay also no hot water , they always say it will ready but not done full of our stay . Breakfast is not good and one staff is very rude . . Washbasin is block . We stay three days and they don't fix anything Don’t look other reviews. It’s all fake . The location is ok . That’s only one benefits . We do not recommend this hotel . We traveled 21 countries .

日付が変わる頃にチェックインしたら今使える部屋がないと言われた。４５分ほど部屋の清掃のためロビーで待たされた。部屋のアップグレードはしてくれた。 微妙な清潔感で日本人の感覚で嫌な人は嫌だと思う。 バスルームはユニットバスでシャワーカーテンなどは無いので床がビシャビシャになる。なので、ビーチサンダルがとても役に立った。 低クオリティのシャンプーとボディーソープはあるが、持って行く方が良いとおもう。ドライヤーはない。フロントに貸出用のものが１台だけある。

Excellent spot!

This hotel is a very good bargain for the money! The room was very clean, beds were incredibly comfortable with lovely, smooth cotton bed linens. They even made up a small little bed for my 9 year old. There is plenty of storage space in the room, which has lovely high ceilings. The location is PERFECT for being picked up and dropped off reliably by Uber and just in general for knowing where you are. There are great historic cafes right down stairs. They also provide a modest free breakfast if you like. I prefer to just have coffee on the balcony in the morning and they brought coffee to my room. Our bathroom was personal for our room, but was not attached to the room itself. It was just across the hallway. I didn’t mind this at all. Our bathroom was very clean and large. I will definitely stay here again if I need to be in a centrally located spot in Cairo. Hosts very nice.

À fuir, vraiment!

J'ai réservé pour deux nuits pour visiter le musée égyptien du Caire et les souks. L'hôtel est bien situé et se compose d'un étage d'un immeuble ancien, pas entretenu et sale. Le bâtiment est tout simplement trop sale, j'ai même pris des photos à envoyer à des connaissances, car je n'avais jamais rien vu de tel. J'ai une chambre avec vue cour, vue sur une vraie décharge, dans la partie de la vue rue les claxons incessants doivent être aussi mauvais. Le personnel semble depassé et le gérant est odieux et arrogant. Je ne m'étais même pas encore installé et il est venu me vendre des excursions. Comme je ne les pas achetées, je n'e pas eu le droit á un simple bonjour, ou d'avoir ma chambre nettoyé le lendemain. La télévision dans la chambre ne fonctionnait pas, l'armoire en train de s'effondrer, sur le lit, deux vieux matelas superposés. Je suis un client ''gold'' de hotels.com, ce fut la pire expérience de ma vie.

It’s a nice old looking building on a great location. I expected a lobby as I walked in but the entrance leading to the old elevator is not properly taking care of, as it is used by all the other different businesses located in the building. The actual hotel is located on the sixth floor only! Once you’re at the hotel itself, is a pleasant atmosphere, the owner Hussein was very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are nice and cleaned every day if you leave your key when you’re out. I’m a woman traveling solo and felt safe in the property. I stayed 7 nights, buffet breakfast is the same every day; boiled eggs, cucumbers and tomatoes, white cheese, bread, grapes, yogurt, orange juice, instant coffee and tea. I was tired of boiled eggs one day I asked if I could cook my eggs and they didn’t mind me using the kitchen. You could always eat out there’s so many places within walking distance and very cheap, corner stands where you can buy bottled water, juices, sodas, cookies and chips right around the corner from the hotel. I suggest once you settle in your room walk around the building so you can discover the small restaurants and shops, I ate every day at a place called Kazzas at first it seems like a take out place but they have sitting upstairs and you can have lunch or dinner from 3.00 dollars and up. The help at the hotel consists of young college kids, very friendly and helpful and they speak English.

La habitación que nos ofrecieron no tenía nada que ver con la que se oferta en la página web. Nos dieron. Una habitación sin luz natural totalmente oscura, totalmente diferente a la que compramos en la página web. Las instalaciones son muy deficientes: el inodoro no funcionaba, había mucho ruido constantemente, apenas había iluminacion en el hotel. Otro aspecto decepcionante fue que el hotel está situado en una sexta planta de un edificio en la que la entrada está llena de suciedad. En la web se anuncia como un hotel de tres estrellas pero esas bien una pensión de mala calidad. No recomiendo a nadie que se alojé aquí. Intentamos que nos cambiarán de habitación pero no quisieron ofrecernos otra, a pesar de que les explicamos que la habitación que teníamos no se parecía en nada a la que habíamos comprado.

La struttura è in posizione centrale di Downtown Cairo, sulla Piazza di Talaat Harb e molto vicino al Museo egizio (15 min. a piedi). Il proprietario Mr. Hussain e la manager Mme. Madléne sono stati molto accoglienti, gentili, disponibili e pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza o richiesta. Se si è interessati, possono pure organizzarvi delle escursioni ai siti turistici di maggior interesse. La prima colazione all'egiziana, a Bufè è ottima ed abbondante. La nostra camera e bagno puliti e rinnovati di recente, biancheria e asciugamani venivano cambiati ogni giorno. Tutto sommato, il rapporto prezzo e confort merita un BUONO. Ci ritorneremo!

Das Grand Royal ist super geeignet für Menschen die gerne Cairo erkunden möchten. Es hat eine sehr zentrale Lage mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten Restaurants und Cafés. Das ägyptische Museum ist zu fuß erreichbar. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber es ist sauber und teilweise Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer bemüht. Ich war schon vor Jahren in diesem Hotel und jetzt wieder ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

This hotel is not recommendable for travellers in need for a working internet connection, and the location is not very good if you have a cab service arranged. There i no place for cabs to pick you up close to the hotel. However, it is not all bad. The people running the hotel are very kind and accommodating and you do not require the above, I believe that many will be happy about this hotel. I though had to change my hotel as I needed to be in contact with the outside world during my stay.
