Good hostel, not hotel.
Its more like a hostel, not an actual hotel.
I stayed there for 4 nights. Staff are very freindly and helpful. Breakfast is very good.
I did not have Wi Fi in my room, poor signal so you cannot really use thier internet.
Its located right in down town cairo, busy area, so if you are looking for a quiet place, it cannot be your choice but you have easy access to egyptian musuem/market as well as restuarants and coffee shops which are in walking distance. If you are in Cairo to see pyramids only then do not stay there, its very far from them.
Building entrance was a shock for me and its not easy to find, very old building with a tiny, super old elevator, you should take the elevator and go to the 6th floor.
its better to ask them for a cab to pick you up from airport/train station. It is worth it. Hotel location cannot be found easily, and believe me, you will be shocked at the begining but do not get panic, when you get up you will see how friendly they are.
My room was clean enough but noisy, I could easily hear people walking/talking in corridor, I used my ear plugs to sleep. Bath room didnot have any hook for towels,at least in my room. I had booked the cheapest option, the other rooms might be different.
Again, I see it as a hostel not hotel, pricing could be a little bit cheaper. In overal my stay was not bad, but it really depends how picky you are.
For Americans staying here that have Egyptian friends they are very unfriendly to them. They will not let them visit in your room even if you pay extra for a double room ,I moved out because my Egyptian friends were afraid, and they refused to give me any refund for the 10days I had paid for

I want to give 5 point
Its so good for family staying..the staff is corporative.the breakfast is good and the hotel is in good location.i like it.
poor management.bed was infested with bed bugs and bathroom was dirty middle of the night mosquito bite noisy it was a terrible experience which can not described in a words.
The staff were super helpful and kind hussein , maram and hicham , the location is great in the middle of the city , the building is old and authentic like the whole area which i loved the elevator is authentic too and it is a bit small so be prepared, the area is not quite by anyway so if you are a quiet lover i donot think u will love it but good thing the hotel in the 6’th floor so it is far from car noises, i would definitely come back again

Toplocatie voor een redelijke prijs
Het is een middenklasse hotel op een goeie locatie in de stad vlakbij winkelstraten. Het is dus geen high class maar dat hoeft ook niet. Gewoon simpel en een prima hotel met aardig personeel.
Hotel was possibly even with the other hotel in this area. The fact breakfast time begins 8:30 AM is not so a trouble that we have to consider the breakfast is not included. The shower can be hardly adjusted to comfortable temperature but this is ordinary in this area.
However, the tour was the worst. Do not accept the tour from the hotel staff. No English driver brought me the tour without any plan printed and no explanation before starting tour. After the tour, I had complained to the hotel staff, the free wifi environment had cut so I had not communicated with internet.
I have stayed in the hotel for 5 days for a conference. The location is in downtown, the furniture is over average and the cleanliness is great. Very welcoming and friendly front desk that helped me alot even in my paperwork. Quietness and safety were outstanding. everything here make me feel like at home.
(Hotellet ligger i 6. etasje.)
Good location. That's all. Everything else horrible
Room wasn't as good as it looks in pictures. Comforter was too old and partially damaged, we asked for a replacement but the staff said it was good enough. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The second night was horrible. No water supply to the hotel since 1 am. We needed to take a shower and leave but the staff kept lying to us about the problem. They said it was only temporary and they have a plumber coming to repair the problem. We waited 4 hours for that ''plumber" but nobody showed up. Nothing the staff said was truthful, all just childish lies that we realized couple of hours later. It was very immature of them how they treat their guests. Out of 3 issues we had at the hotel, none was resolved in those 2 nights. Nothing but lies and bad manners.
We dealt with about 6 staff members at the reception. I can't explain how terrible each of them was at accommodating and lying to us.
We chose this hotel because of the good reviews (we thought the bad reviews could be only for random incidents), but it turns out this hotel can never achieve all these good reviews, no way in hell it could be all genuine.
Wifi was weak in the room.
Breakfast was cheap and not good.
No minibar.
No safe in the room. (And don't trust the staff with anything). They are not trustworthy.
Staff don't stop smoking in common areas.
We had to ask for towels and soap bars.
Hot water is only warm, and it doesn't get hot.
Bottom line: THIS HOTEL IS NOT A THREE-STAR HOTEL. THIS IS THE VERY FIRST LIE YOU HEAR.
You can`t beat the location. It`s in downtown cairo. close to Tahrir square and close to several eating places including some famous patisserie. It is within walking distance to the cairo museum. From my room I could hear the nightlife which was nice. I asked for a city view.
The hotel however is shabby and just..not clean. The room smelled a bit. the rug wasn`t clean..the seats in the reception were stained. Guest toilet was unsightly.
I didn`t eat breakfast cos it`s at 08:30hrs. too late for those flying or going on tours.
The staff was friendly, polite and helpful
Refusal on arrival and limited luggage to one case
They denied receipt of your booking so I did not have a chance to check in. They found another room in a nearby hotel relating to them. You can imagine an over 77 year old after a long flight been shifted from one hotel to another, walking. I spent the three nights you ought to have booked in two different rooms, in that hotel, not with the same specifications you advertised. I found another hotel on my own for the rest of the trip!
I have been using your website for many years particularly to the USA. However this trip you booked me on Egyptair but you did not clarify that luggage was limited to one case. I could have got the same flight cheaper somewhere else.
I have to think again before I can use your website.
