Solo travellers ONLY, not a family friendly place
Below average place to stay. The staff was helpful. Very small elevator. You could feel the sand in comforters/blanked and the bedsheet. Bring your own toileteries and towels if you are a family. One towel and one bottle of shower gel and shampoo is not enough for a family. Everybody smokes in the lobby and hall ways, so if you don't like cigarette smoke, this is not a place for you. Overall, I suggest paying a little more at a different place where you have better amenities, bigger and cleaner rooms. Not recommend for families. However, if you are a solo traveller and find a good deal, than this might not be a bad place to stay.

Ensemble tres spartiate
Well first we never got to see the actual hotel room we booked. It wasn't available. So they sent us to another hotel of theirs (advertised cheaper and not great reviews). That hotel was not what we booked. Breakfast was a piece of bread and jam and an egg. No hairdryer, no in room safe, and mosquitos like crazy. Only good thing was location.
Very nice hotel, clean and helpful staff. They are ready to help you anytime. The room is big , the bed is comfortable and you have almost everything inside the room like T.V , fridge , Air condition , private bath and boiler with some tea and coffee. They also helped me to visit the pyramids and catsh the best mements there. Really recommend this place
This turned out to be a great surprise! When I first walked into the run down building at 6am my first day in Egypt I couldn't help but wonder what the heck I had gotten myself into hehe. This long time hostel only recently opened up a hotel part. The staff is young, cheerful and attentive. My room was small but didin't feel like it due to high ceilings. It was neatly designed with a quiet air-conditioner, a fridge, tv, and wardrobe. The bathroom is spacy though, beautiful in all marble. On the street below you'll find some good places to eat, a money exchange and a pharmacy. Within two minutes of walking are several ATMs and two good ice cream places!
