Abbas truly is incredible and made my trip to Egypt even more enjoyable. The location is somewhat hidden so it was nice to be away from the busy streets and the rooftop was also a nice perk as well.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Skewed bed but good location in this area.
Mediocre bed, skewed mattress No towel. However very authentic 60's decoration and in the vicinity only couple of hotels so in that sense this is the only sensible option to experience this area. Taxi cant go directly to door in other hotels.
I recommend for couple of nights, not more.
No AC, lots of stray dogs, neighborhood kids moving freely inside the hotel, dirty linens, no private toilets. no shower, not suitable for anything.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience overall! Egyptian Oriental Breakfast was not served as it's advertised for. Some of the staff members was rude, disorganized and lack professionalism. All they care for is money. (Others were friendly though). Smoking cigarettes is allowed in all rooms and you can smell the sting of it creeps in to your room. Some guests were loud almost all night no one bothered to inform them to be considered of other guests sleeping. No quality service whatsoever.
Location is good that's about it.
I won't be repeating my stay.
I didn’t like the way the mattress smelled, they need new mattresses, If you use Uber you have to insist they pick you up from the hotel, the neighborhood is called the City of the Dead and it does appear to have a lot going on. Do not get into Taxi cabs you didn’t reserve online or get out of a Uber in a location other than your hotel, one Uber driver eventually had to admit that I was directing him to the correct hotel after he wanted to drop me off somewhere else, I’d walk up to the Main Street the night before and noticed the businesses that were at the corner of the street and that how I was able to safely make it back to the hotel. You can’t use your debit card anywhere near the hotel, Uber to the grocery store, there are businesses in these neighborhoods in Egypt that will allow you to use your debit card, you need to use your debit card rather than Egyptian money so that if something were to happen, the bank can advise where you were spending money last, I used Uber to go to the grocery store twice while staying there. You can hear talking all night some nights in the neighborhood and there some sort of religious belief that are communicated multiple times of day and night using loud speakers. I also didn’t like the way the pillow smelled.
The costumer service was fantastic. Ayman was a decent, kind and helpful person. The property was pretty clean and well organized. The hotel is in a walking distance from Islamic Cairo. My favorite part was the free breakfast. There was plenty of food and was so yummy. I highly recommend Arabian nightd hotel.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Pleasant experience at Arabian Nights.
Just had a good and memorable 3 week stay in Egypt at Arabian Nights hotel. The location is great; situated right in the heart of Old Cairo and close walking distance to many local facilities and even a few popular tourist sites. Staff members were also friendly and helpful, promptly responding to any problems we had. Our morning breakfast was really nice with both options (Arab/continental) sufficiently varied and tasty. The room itself was comfortable and decent in size, while the WiFi generally worked well during our stay too. Overall, great value for money.
Considerations/improvements: the local area isn't the cleanest and has several stray cats/dogs, which cause noise during the night that can be a nuisance for sensitive sleepers. The shower cubicle only has a partial screen, which results in water spillage onto the main floor after a shower. The fridge/cupboard were usable, but ideally could do with replacing.
The only thing that was ok was the owner........This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in ......we changed hotels straight away....
Don't just read the reviews, check who wrote the reviews, because the whole area was the same .
The customer service we received at this hotel was of the highest quality. Mahmood and his staff were the most helpful. 10/10 recommend it. The rooms are comfortable from what you would expect from a budget hotel. Its basic but comfortable.
