The Reception team at the Sebel Palm Cove Resort were really accommodating during our time here. Definitely recommend 👌 this place to stay. We stayed in a 1 bedroom Self contained apartment which suited our needs.

We were three families with kids (children ages 8-17) staying in separate apartments. The pool was nice, and the staff was friendly. However, you would definitely need a car if you're staying here. There's no bar or restaurant, there's not even a vending machine to purchase a drink or a snack. It's NOT a five-minute walk down to the nearest shop, despite what anyone tells you (especially not in the heat with kids). The apartments feel quite remote and apart from some DVD's and board games, there's really not much for kids to do or explore in the evening. Also, could have been the time of the year (Jan) but despite the aircon being on 24/7, there was a lingering musty/mildewy smell in the bedroom/bed, plus one of the aircon's kept leaking quite a lot of water. The surrounding area was very quiet, almost like a sleepy seaside resort for retirees, so if that's your thing - then this is the place for you. If not, I would not recommend.

The outlook from the balcony is priceless. The room is extremely tired, the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and we had to sleep on the lounge instead? There was no fly screens on any windows so we couldn’t keep them open? This was a special 60th birthday surprise and let itself down big time. This cost me a small fortune to boot….

Definitely not “sebel” standard. Rooms are a great size but are dated, and had better days. Seems to be “quick” cleaned as there was alot of dirt/dust/rubbish jammed down areas such as the washing machine. Our sink leaked- attempted to contact reception on 4 occasions and no one got back to us. No cafe etc on site so byo food unless you plan to eat out the entire time

We had a studio apartment which was well appointed and spacious. The one thing I missed was mot having our own laundry and the common laundry down stairs was dated and not as clean as I would have liked. The pool area and barbecue facility was good although the pool probably needs a resurface but it was clean.

Very modern and clean room. Extremely spacious and looked exactly like the photos. The accommodation was a bit further back from the restaurants and beach but it was a nice walk after dinner. Would definitely stay there again.

Studio w/ Kitchenette was avsolutely perfect! Clean, modern, and all the cooking and cleaning utensils I need for my 6 day stay. Washer & dryer in the unit was a plus. Bathroom had a tub and shower with separated toilet, like you get in fancy hotels. This room made my stay even more pleasurable and comfortable.

The studio has everything you will need on your stay. The room was very clean. Everything was modern and comfy. The washer and dryer in the unit was a pleasant surprise. The kitchenette had a fridge, stove, microwaves, and all the plates and utensils, and even cookware that you need. The bathroom is like what you would get in a fancy hotel suite. It’s actually bigger than my one bedroom apartment back home. I ended up adding 3 extra days here because I love the studio so much. The location is not close to Cairns city center, but Palm Cove is a beautiful little area in itself. If you want a peace and quiet and to to get away from all the city “action”, then this place is perfect.

The 3BR apartment was nice and new. For a family of 8, they only 2 small sauce pans, we had to go out and buy a pot. During our stay, there was a black out and the AC was over working so water was dripping and dishwasher stopped working. Other than those small issues. We we’re happy with our stay.

Property interior was in top form, super nice that we had music playing when we entered - was a nice touch. Hotel staff on deck was very helpful - the manager Emil Gan was very friendly and accommodating in terms of pointing us out things to do, places to go and what food options to eat. Everything was in order and apartment was spotless, really great!
