My brother and i stayed here for the weekend.
We were greeted warmly by the staff here, he was a really friendly and helpful person.
The room was small but cosy.
The location is second to none, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Llanberis.
We had pizza here the 2nd evening and it was sublime.
We also had a chance to meet the owner aswell, and she was lovely too.
A really amazing place to stay.
We had a lovely compact double room with en-suite. There is a bar and evening meal option (pizza or burger), with a nice atmosphere, plus a continental-style breakfast option. Located just outside of Llanberis but easy to walk into the village. The staff make this place, they are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble!
Overall it is very good for what it is and the price! Busy restaurant/bar with great pizza. As it was "surprisingly" busy for a Thursday night, we had to wait for more than 1 hour for the food. To be fair, they had to turn away people since 7pm as the kitchen was busy. Had to ask to check on the kitchen before getting the food. They were nice enough to knock off some of the bill without asking. Appreciate it. I would stay again but probably book early for food.
There was no space at all in the rooms. I understand that this can be limited, but I wish it was mentioned on the booking site (i.e. the room dimensions or something similar), and the heater did not work. The mattress was incredibly lumpy and very hard to sleep on. Unfortunately, they couldn't offer an earlier breakfast however the service was very nice and the staff were friendly.
The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough to help you. Breakfast was worth every penny and perfect to start the day especially if your there to walk. The evening food was delicious and very well priced. The twin room was compact but enough space when you are just sleeping.
Perfect location for walking the Llanberis path.
This hotel was ideal for us, the rooms aren't huge but they are clean, comfortable and functional. The hotel staff are super friendly and really helpful with local advice.
Really great 2 day stay at Gallt Y Glyn, the staff and the warm welcome was 1st class, the atmosphere in the the place was brilliant, had a really good buzz and the food was actually 'BANGING'!!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was very "compact", however if you are quite tall, in the 6ft plus range, you would struggle to sit on the toilet without opening the bathroom door with your knees!
The only good thing was the wifi in the bedroom. The room was freezing as the radiator only got Luke warm. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room and no tv. The en suite is tiny, the bathroom door doesn't close properly and there is no lock on the door. We were above the bar so there was music playing and noise from people until 11:30pm. There was a storm when we went and there was absolutely nothing to do at the place. Not even in the communal room downstairs. No tv or books to read. The communal room wasn't very clean either. Breakfast is not provided. My bed creaked and rocked. I thought it would collapse under me. We absolutely hated staying there. We were booked in for 3 nights but only stayed one night. We booked into somewhere else for the remainder of our trip. I was charged £60 a night for a twin room (more like a cell) and it is a complete rip off. I will never stay there again and do not recommend it to anyone. The food is nice but over priced.

The people were brilliant, very welcoming and polite. The room was ok, the shower was stuck on scorching, (not just hot but actually too hot hot to use), and the toilet didn’t flush properly. The food was amazing and the location was perfect for walking up Snowdon.
We booked here last minute when we decided to climb Snowdon. The room was basic but clean and made good use of the space. We just needed a place to sleep and shower and this did the job. The service we had from the staff was superb! We would come back because how well they took care of us. Also, the restaurant is wonderful - such good pizza!

Very nice staff. Room was comfortable and had a decent view. En suite was tiny and congested, but functional if you are a thin person. Mountains and lake visible from different points in the guest house. A good place to stay and nice scenic area with lake and mountains.
The girl at the reception is really nice and helpful.
Room was clean and with all the essential things, only the en-suite bathroom is really small.
In the ground floor there is a good restaurant open from Wednesday to Sunday. Pizza is really good and I am Italian to say it. You can choose any topping from a long list and compose your personal pizza.
