Enkelt och prisvärt hotell

Hotellet ligger ca 10 minuters promenad från de centrala delarna av Cabarete. Halvvägs ligger en stor livsmedelsbutik, vilket var bra. Hotellet består av två delar med varsin pool. Bodelen ligger på andra sidan vägen och restaurangen ligger mot stranden. Det fina fotot med poolen mot stranden är alltså tagen vid resaturangdelen. Små hus som består av två dubbelrum som delar på en enkel altan. Stranden nedanför restaurangen består av korallrev nära standkanten men man kan hitta ställen att bada på ändå där. Den delen av stranden är bra om man vill ligga lite för sig själv. Vanligt dock med promenerande par och en och annan ryttare till häst. Trevlig personal.

Bra hotell för pengarna

Bra hotell för den lilla pengen. Lugnt och skönt område, tyst på hotellet. Väldigt trevlig o bra personal. Rummen var relativt små men bra städning och rent. Minus för att det inte alltid fanns varmvatten i duschen. Jag skulle helt klart rekommendera detta hotellet och även bo här igen.

What is this place???

This place is kind of a joke. First of all, if you look at their website, it hypes up the "kite" aspect of the place. There's not kite school and the beach you have access to is not kiteable. There's coral sticking out of the water right at the beach and there's not even enough room to launch a kite. You couldn't even swim here, let alone kite. The room itself was clean and the AC and TV worked. Wifi was spotty. The bed and pillows were massively uncomfortable. I had one hot shower out of 4, the rest were cold, cold, cold. The place across the street makes a decent, cheap breakfast. It's nice that the hotel is a little removed from the noisy downtown and does have parking. All in all, I couldn't figure this place out. It's definitely not a "kite dream." It has absolutely nothing to do with kiting and it's about as far from Cabarete's kite beach as you can get. It was certainly cheap, but had NO comforts. The majority of guests were single expats who may or may not have been hiding from the law... Maybe this place is just a front. It's weird. I wouldn't recommend it at all to anyone.

Mysigt!!

Mysigt hotell vid havet med två stora pooler, bra o billig restaurang. Flesta i personalen va super!! Ligger 20 min promenad från cabarete strand där alla barer o restauranger finns men kändes säkert o promenera. Taxi 60 kr annars. Rekommenderar hotellet om man vill ha ett nice budgethotell vid havet.

No hot water!

We stayed for 3 nights during new years. There was no hot water in the shower for the entire stay. We asked if they coulf fix the problem, but they never did. Having to call them every day and take ice cold showers made the stay uncomfortable.

zwei km Entfernung zum Hauptstrand/ Ortskern

Auf der Straße, die wir überqueren mussten, um an den Strand und das Restaurant zu kommen, herrschte reger Verkehr. Das Restaurant Goddess sowie das Kite Dreem verfügen über einen Pool. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett, sprechen Englisch und Spanisch, insgesamt ist das Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Am Strand badeten wenige, da es ein paar Steine gibt, aber du kannst toll spazieren gehen um dir ein anderes nettes Plätzchen zu suchen....

Beach On A Budget

Budget hotel right across from the beach. Rooms are outdated and a bit dingy, but who cares because you are steps away from the ocean. Rooms did have a convenient mini fridge, and Manager let us borrow a plate and knife to use (their official website incorrectly states there is a kitchen available to guests), so we were able to save on food costs. Hotel restaurant across the street has pretty good food for cheap when we did want to eat out. An 8 minute walk from 'downtown' Cabarete, or a 2 minute moto taxi ride, made it convenient to explore and enjoy the nightlife.

You get what you pay for!

If you are just looking for a bed, a place to sleep, this is the place for you. Do not expect US standards. If you want a cheap place to stay close to the beach and you don't mind the accommodations than you will not mind staying here. I paid for 2 nights and left after one night. This is not the place for couples either. The pool was always full of little kids and there were no umbrellas or shade at the beach. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was full of mosquitoes. Although the room was "clean" it did not feel clean because everything in the room was so old. They advertise free high speed wifi but you can only get one bar, not enough to even check your email. Their t.v. was a small 14 inch old fashioned t.v. I would definitely not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
