This is a great hotel but what makes it even better is the level of service by the front desk. Alex at Front Desk is outstanding and provided us great service. We stayed at this hotel 3 different times during our trip and the experience was outstanding each time. The hotel is located superbly - 2 minutes walk to Teatro Colon, 2 minutes walk to Tango Show, 2 mins walk to buenos aires obelisk. The area is very safe, restaurants 2 mins away but still a very quite area. The hotel suite room is very big, has refrigerator, microwave, nice bathroom, dining table/chairs. The breakfast area is good although we did not have breakfast there. The hotel stored our luggage nicely after check out. In all, the hotel stay was superb, made even better by Alex at front desk and will stay again.

I had a great stay in Up Viamonte. My bed was super comfortable , big. Great location, front desk is friendly. Breakfast next to it was good . Rooms come with small refri,.microwave, small table

All members of staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We showed up very early for our check in, due to travel itinerary, and they still welcomed us very warmly and went ahead and assigned our room. We LOVED this stay! Gracias chicos, los hacen muy bien!

The AfA is on the other side of the road. Very good neighborhood. Clean facilities, friendly staff, etc. It‘s just not where the music plays, but Taxis are cheap!

Room and bathroom were quite dated and looked a bit grimey, however the room was clean and the daily service was very good. WiFi strength wasn’t very good and always dropped out the further we got away from the corridor - which was the main bedroom

Comfortable if you get lucky with your room

The hotel was conveniently located and the front desk staff was very attentive even though their ability to resolve certain issues was limited. The hotel's 9th floor had construction happening 8:15 am until 5 so if noise is an issue for you during those hours, stay on the 6th floor or lower. The rooms are also very inconsistently outfitted with AC units and places to store your belongings so be picky with room assignment.

Great hotel, can’t beat the location. The only complaint I had was the wifi. Be sure to download shows before going. I wanted to stream content not available in my country but there was so much loading in between. The staff are fantastic always ready to answer questions. There are lil markets, convenience store and many restaurants within 5mins of the hotel, the park across the street is awesome. The subway line it’s on takes you right to Palermo, walking distance to the Cathedral and Plaza de Mayo, walk straight on Viamonte and you can get to the waterfront, 15mins from AEP. Download Cabify instead of uber, sooo much faster!

Okay…

We had a triple room. It felt like we were in a basement as the window looked out to a close cement wall so the room lacked natural light. The doors and walls were dirty and the room really needed upkeep. Other than that, the room was clean, it had a fridge, microwave and safe so that was nice. Both beds were all in one room, which didn’t look like the photo on the website. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast room and breakfast was very nice. Location was close to Teatro Colon.
