Great place before a cruise

Excellent location, safe and quiet. Hotel was great and close to downtown either by easy walk or inexpensive taxi. The A/C in the room was sluggish and the elevators very small (two people max (or three is you're small and thin).

SUMA recoleta review

Its a great experience overall, they even have foreign exchange (money). Its a very safe and fancy neighbourhood, there are a lot of shops and restaurants at a walking distance.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, with a lot of good restaurants nearby and close to the city center. The part we did not like was the noise that you can hear in the rooms, especially from the elevator. Unfortunately, we could not sleep very well.

The elevators are small, old and slow. We were on the 8th floor and sometimes we had to go up and down the stairs because the elevator never came. The room is OK. The wifi is bad. The TVs cannot connect to the internet and they don't have a clue how to fix it. I asked for an iron and a board the they I checked in, 3 days later I got it after 4 calls to the front desk and also in person.

Everything was quite fine for the purpose of my stay. At first I was given a very noisy room, which was immediately changed for a much quiet one on an upper floor. Thank you Enzo. Sheets and towels definitely need an upgrade.

Disappointing. The front of the property is beautiful and a great location however it papers over the literal cracks in the property. Our room was a good size but the duvet had no cover, was dirty. Bed was comfortable enough but pillows were hard. The door handle was falling off, the toilet made an almighty grunting noise and was not constructed properly. The safe didn’t work and the walls were falling off

Worst hotel ever

I stayed 3+3+10 nights. Comments from employee “ in this hotel they improve/repair anything, because all the owner cares is to make more money”, another one “There was an upset customer, so we gave him the room assigned to you”. First 6 nights I paid for a double room & the other 10 for a deluxe room and they gave me the same type of room. I will give this hotel 2 1/2 stars at the most. Weak internet, very basic breakfast, awful windows - not sound proof and you could feel the cold air going through all day, no sleepers, nor robes in the room; no coffee machine in the room. They don't offer room service; TV channels only in Spanish. Check in is at 03:00 pm, but I didn’t get my room until 06:00 pm. Twice my room was not clean and it was 05:30 pm. Twice between 06:00 - 08:00 pm there was no employee at the front desk for around 20 minutes, which meant that anyone could walk into the hotel (big security gap). The elevator is old and tiny, most people have to take the stairs up to 9 floors. There are plenty of options in Buenos Aires, this is the worst!
