Creo que en un hotel de 5 estrellas no se debería permitir música a partir de las 24:00 h.Puesto que debería garantizarse el descanso de los clientes. El sábado dia 12 de septiembre se celebraba la fiesta de una boda y la música duró hasta las 4 de la madrugada. La fiesta se celebraba en la 5ª planta y nosotros estabamos hospedados en la 4ª, por lo tanto no pudimos dormirnos hasta que terminó la música. Nos quejamos a los dos de la madrugada en recepción pero no hicieron nada. La fiesta duró hasta las 4 de la madrugada.

What can i say...This hotel is really top nice. Rooms are high standard, and everything is just nice. Breakfast is kontinental, and we didnt miss anything at all. There was alot to choose, and all in best quality. Area is around ministeries, near to opera, and good connection to every where.n

empfehlenswertes zentrales Hotel für Städtereisen

Das Hotel Marshal befindet sich in sehr guter Lage, denn die Altstadt von Bukarest ist in kurzem Fußmarsch zu erreichen. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es dennoch erstaunlich ruhig, weil sich das Hotel in einer kleinen wenig befahrenen Nebenstraße befindet. Die Hotelmitarbeiter haben sich bei unserem Aufenthalt aufmerksam und bemüht gezeigt. Selbst das Bereitstellen eines Frühstückspaketes um 6.00 Uhr morgens, als die Küche eigentlich noch nicht geöffnet hatte, hat geklappt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gut eingerichtet und von vernünftiger Größe. Besonders aufgefallen ist die hohe Qualität des Badezimmers. Einzig zu bemängeln ist die Qualität des Frühstücks. Hier wurde wenig bis gar nicht aufgefüllt, die Lebensmittel wirkten teilweise nicht mehr frisch. Vielleicht lag das aber auch daran, dass das Hotel nicht wirklich gut besucht war.

Great stay in Hotel Marshall

Excellent value. One of the quietest rooms we have ever stayed in. Utterly incredible in Bucharest and we have traveled in much of the world. Andrea in reception spoke fluent English and went out of her way to be very helpful. Alena was the same in the dining room.

Apart from 1 receptionist a good value hotel

After some poor service from hotels.com (not replying to an urgent e.mail) the stay was good. Let down by very unhelpful young female receptionist who found it too much bother to book a day trip to Transylvania. When attempt made later by another receptionist the trip was fully booked - very disappointed. A young male receptionist more than made up for his colleague - very friendly, helpful and all with a smile - well done George, show your colleague what customer service is all about. Breakfast good but try to get it included - better value. Room good, clean and comfortable and quiet as long as the A/C is working - check before booking. Good central position near University Sq. metro and some restaurants

Review for the Marshal Garden Hotel

There was a slight problem with my booking at Hotel Marshal and I was moved to the sister hotel the Garden Marshal. My stay was great, the AC was a bit difficult so the nighttime temp was a bit warm but for the rest the hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast was lovely. All in all it was a very good stay!

Pleasant, convenient hotel

I stayed at hotel Marshal a couple of nights and I was very pleased with the room, the location - close to the metro (although the neighborhood in itself was a bit shabby) and the service I got.

Short break in Bucharest

Plenty to see in a 3 day break, peasant museum, art museum. Been to St Fagans in Cardiff? There is a similar Romanian version just a few metro stops from the university metro stop (metro tickets available from machines, instructions in French and English)

Quiet Location

Good value and generally well run. The reception area could be improved just by being cleared up , and given some TLC to some new plants! The hotel is popular with locals , and if you are there when it is booked for a wedding reception ,prepare to encounter loud music and difficult eating conditions. The food at the companies other hotel is excellent. The staff are very helpful and overall it is worth a return visit.

Gutes Haus in zentrumsnaher aber ruhiger Lage

Das Hotel liegt zentral aber dank Seitenstraße dennoch ruhig genug, dass man auch bei offenem Fenster schlafen kann - wenn es die Sommerhitze ohne Klimaanlage in Bukarest zulässt. Mein Aufenthalt war ohne Frühstück, da ich ohnehin zu früh wieder raus musste. Ärgerlich empfand ich den mangelhaften WLAN Empfang, der bei leistungsschwachen Geräten keine stabile Verbindung aufbaut. Eine Umbuchung in ein anderes Zimmer wäre wohl aussichtslos gewesen, da es nur in der Lobby mit guter Qualität funktionierte. Allerdings gibt es für Notebook-Nutzer ein LAN Kabel im Zimmer und in der Lobby einen frei nutzbaren PC.

Very Nice Place and Service - 공항버스에 내려서 가깝고좋았습니다.

호텔 자체는 좋았습니다. 로비에서 와이파이 잘되고 공항버스에서 내려서 찾기고 어렵지 않았구요.. 다만 분명히 아침 포함이었는데..아니라고 하더군요.. 설명도 했고..이것저것 다 보여줬는데.. 자기 화면에는 포함되지 않은것으로 나온다고 해서 조금 당황했지만 아침 10시에 체크인했기에 그냥 만족했습니다. Very nice place and comportalbe but Please check breakfast. Because I reserved included it but the hotel couldn't check coupon.

Quiet hotel

Great quiet find but difficult to locate without map or taxi. Very quiet back street.Wall to wall carpet with quiet close doors. Excellent service and great breakfast included.10 minute walk from the old town which is really hopping with young hip crowd and good restaurants.Great value for money hotel.

Sehr zentral, sehr freundlich

Insgesamt ein sehr sauberes, freundliches, gut geführtes Hotel. Nur das Hoteltelefon ist sehr teuer, auch für Stadtgespräche. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.

Marshal Hotel Bucharest

I spent 10 nights on the Marshal Hotel. Very nice and cosy hotel at a good location. Staff is very friendly. Room was very nice. Refridgerator was out of order but it was replaced quickly. Restaurant very good, the best I tried in Bucharest during my stay. Waiters are very good and the food is great. I highly recommend the Argentinian steak and the Romanian traditional food. Breakfast was ok. It doesn't seem to be a tradition for Romanians to have non-smoking areas in restaurants. I recommend the hotel staff to split the restaurant area into smoking/non smoking areas. I don't like cigarette smell while eating breakfast. This is the only negative thing I can say about the restaurant. Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent Value for Money

In terms of value for money Hotel Marshall is unbeatable.... Good, quiet, leafy location but with the Old Town c 10 minute walk away. My room was superb, clean, spacious, bright with a glass walled bathroom in the corner. Buffet breakfast was good too. Highly recommended

Clean, comfortable & a nice restaurant

We were very pleased with this hotel. The hotel and restaurant staff were very pleasant to deal with. Booking through Expedia definitely saved us a great deal of money. Breakfast was included in the price and included hot items as well as fruits, yogurt, bread, etc. If I ever needed to be in Bucharest again I would stay there.
