Really enjoyed our stay. Good food, good room and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience a trulely authentic Romanian hotel.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed, Bucharest is a very nice city, in love with the therme București.
The breakfast was included, nice food. I'd like to thank the whole kitchen and waiting staff for their good job.
I did not have too much interaction with the staff but the receptionist who helped me with the check-in seemed to be very friendly and helpful
The room was very spacious, clean, comfy and warm all the time. The bed was a bit uncomfortable though.
A decent clean hotel with friendly and efficient staff, not too far from the train station. The hotel advertises a hotel shuttle service but doesn't have one. The train from the airport is very good value. The area feels safe at night but is very quiet, more residential than touristic. Breakfast was filling with a good choice of fruits and plenty there.
One day is not enough to discover the diversity of services offered by Hotel Irisa.
My two stays at Hotel Irisa, 21 days in 2022 and 12 days in 2023, were enough for me to decide that this hotel is and remains an exception. The level of hospitality provided by the staff and, most of all, by the owner, is hard to find elsewhere.
The hotel restaurant offers a breakfast buffet with over 30 fresh and delicious items, including home-made ones. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner, with traditional Romanian dishes and selected wines. I can definitely recommend Hotel Irisa as a good choice!
Overall the property is nice and quiet. The staff is not very friendly especially at the checkout. There was a water bottle and chocolate missing from the mini bar, which we did not use and the lady was very mean. She said she was going to pay for us if we didn’t want to pay. Made us feel very uncomfortable, basically calling us liars. Would not recommend or use this hotel again.
Front desk had no record of my reservation, consistently projecting that rotten, non-customer-service, communist-era attitude. I had to pay for parking. Breakfast was a joke... cold, scrambled eggs that seemed days old. Sad, very uncomfortable room furnishings. This kind of property makes Hotels.com look bad, and makes me question my future business with them!
I was totally disappointed of this hotel .The receptionist ( a lady) wasn ’t friendly, kind and with a nice behavior. She made me feel very, very bad .
I think the manager of this hotel should have resolved this problem.
The room was large but a bad smell ( some substance for kill the bugs maybe) when I entered in .
The bed wasn’t comfortable at all and the bathroom didn’t have toilet paper and liquid soap, the second day .
The restaurant had a cheap breakfast and the staff wasn’t friendly at all .
I will not come back here and I don’t recommend to other tourists.
Stort rum.
