Affordable and charming old fashioned European hotel. Very clean and pretty comfortable. Excellent location. Friendly staff. We had a very pleasant stay.
It is small and cozy, perfect located near to every interesting place. Public transport very easy to get. Breakfast was good and the staff is very nice and kind. I highly recomended.
A hidden gem of a hotel, tucked in behind the Market Square. Room was small but absolutely fine for a solo traveller.
I slept amazingly well in this hotel. So quiet, while also being very central.
The only negative was that breakfast had to be booked in advance for a particular time and wasn't available until 8.30am.
The location is super, a 5 minute walk to market square. This is an old building, but everything is neat and clean. We really enjiyed our 4 days there. The owner/managers are very pleasant.
The property is old and tired looking. No A/C, no safe, no frig. The floor in the bathroom was old and wooden. It is a 2 star hotel, very basic in a very convenient part of town.
Bed bugs!! I emailed them the day after check out once I realized that the bites we were waking up with looked exactly like bed bug bites (neither of us had had them before). Staff responded by trying to convince me that we do not have bed bug bites and it is probably mosquitoes (these are most certainly not mosquito bites).

Disliked: Room comfort
Basic, not fabulous
Definitely not great. To be fair, part of that was due to the unexpectedly hot weather while we were there. With no air-conditioning at the hotel, and a large room (quad) that only had one small window that we could open, it made for an uncomfortable, sleepless night. Front desk is a bit odd - you can supposedly check in until 8 PM, but the front desk closes at 6 pm. Fortunately we arrived on time for check-in, but by the time we settled into the room and had a question, the front desk was already closed for the night. The room was OK, certainly big enough. Yes, there was a big tub in the bathroom, but it had lots of scuff marks and the tile was rusty and showing signs of age. The toilet was crammed into a tiny space between the wall and the tub with barely enough space for an average sized person. They provided the essentials for a shower, but the shower gel was in individual foil packs, not necessarily convenient for a shower. The hotel did provide a tower fan in the room, but that didn't help much.
At the end of the day, the hotel can't do anything about the extraordinary weather. The location is also excellent. But it would have made for a much better stay had the hotel put in a little additional effort to provide ice and/or cold drinks somehow to offset the uncomfortably hot room. Our experience is that this is just a basic hotel in a great location, nothing fabulous about it.
