"Metro hotel was very central to Chinatown, Sydney and was about 30min walk to the Opera House. There is a tram station very nearby which was very handy. The hotel itself looked clean and pleasant. Reception area was tidy, spacious and modern but room needs urgent refurb. We booked a double room but got a family room with a double and a single bed which was nice. There was plenty of room with a desk, kettle, fridge, safe and TV. The bathroom was very old fashioned with a bath and shower curtain...

"Overall the experience was good. The first night was uncomfortable as the box spring was missing a support leg, causing the bed to sag. They moved us to a different room and that room was much better. The staff were great in accommodating our change. The location is excellent for visiting Darling Harbour. Close to public transport for getting around. Having a kitchen was great to enjoy some meals at the unit. "
