I recently stayed here and overall had a really lovely experience. The room had everything you needed and was very comfortable. The bathroom was great, the setting was beautiful, and the outlook from the property was genuinely lovely.
There are just a few things worth noting for future guests. When walking up from outside, people using the stairs could see into the bathroom area, so privacy might be something to be aware of. I also noticed that when other guests were in the property you could hear quite a lot — particularly doors closing and people moving around. The Wi-Fi could really do with improving, as the connection was quite weak during my stay.
The coffee machine was a nice touch, but unfortunately there were no pods available and it looked like it could probably do with a bit of a clean. The general cleaning was good, but when looking a little closer — behind things or when moving items slightly — it seemed like those areas hadn’t been cleaned for a while.
One thing I personally found a little stressful was the keypad entry system. Having to punch in the codes each time, rather than using a key or card, made me feel slightly uneasy coming and going as I was travelling on my own.
That said, it’s a beautiful place to stay and the space itself is really well equipped. With just a few small tweaks and a bit more attention to detail, it could easily be excellent.
