Good value for money
The rooms were clean but there was no housekeeping available during the three nights of our stay. We had to ask for more milk and tea which was not a problem. No breakfast was available, but dinner was. This was of good quality for the price. The rooms are slightly tired, but probably suffering from lack of use during Covid restrictions. Very few staff on site, but those that were, very helpful and pleasant. The situation of the hotel was lovely and quiet and very handy for Bath and Bristol which were the reasons for our stay.
I booked 2 delux double rooms but at the check in time, we were told 1 delux and 1 normal double room booked. Expedia booking was for 2 delux double rooms. We missed out somehow and eventully paid a small fee to upgrade one room. Bit unfair to charge us again for which we had paid already. Can we get the refund?

Adequate
When I arrived, the smell in reception was fairly unpleasant, bit like drains that are backed up. Left to struggle up 2sets of stairs with bags and as a token gesture at the top of the stairs asking if I wanted a hand... pointless really. Would have been nice for someone to just carry one I’m not into wanting people to carry all my stuff I’ll manage but if roles were reversed, I would have offered. On the face of it the rooms are ok. However, when you have a big room that you paid extra for it’s completely pointless putting a tiny tv in the furthest corner away from the bed... talking about the bed, stripped it off because I used to clean for a living and know how time saving this is for the staff and I found a blood stain on the mattress cover 😬Big no no, never never is that acceptable on a bed! And disappointingly this was what actually made me decide to write this. Every thing was ok, generally the shower was nice the view was good... but that’s it.

Misleading Check-In Information - Avoid
Wasn't able to stay due to misleading information around check-in times meaning that upon arrival no-one was there to check me in. Check in closes at 10pm and not 12 as instructed on the website. Had to drive 3h in appalling weather as a result. Very annoyed.
Not far from the airport, room is fine, with cooker etc in the room. Excellent catering service (outsourced) which is nice, bc hotel is in the middle of nowhere. BUT....
.....not recommend falling sick and being a solo traveller! No basic medication available at reception, nor the will to find another solution or being helpful otherwise. Not even calling a taxi, but kicked out of the room at eleven instead. No mercy policy..
They couldn't care less if you drop dead; as long as it's not there :((
Impressive, welcoming service in difficult conditions.(hotel has closed temporarily- covid) Delighted to be able to get food & drink(£5 a pint of stella, £3 a half!- just wrong). Unfortunately everyone had the same idea about food my first night-waited over an hour, then no tartare despite being advertised. Pleasantly surprised to be able to stream football, even if no whatsap picture (it is in the country!)

Have stayed before and happy with hotel but rather worried that we had not been instructed that the hotel was In Tier 3 when booking - the hotel didnt accept responsibility for not informing us and said was down to booking agent - felt that someone should have told us prior to the booking
Very good value for money, the room delivered meal ( Covid restrictions )was excellent and the choice of dishes on the menu great. No breakfast unfortunately again due to Covid but a great place to overnight for Bristol airport. Friendly helpful staff and the place itself is in a lovely location with gardens and country outlook.
Lovely place to stay very welcoming very friendly,
Our room was lovely so spacious and the bathroom very big too
couldn’t really fault it would happily stay again 😁
We just wanted a bed for the night for a flight arriving at Bristol Airport in the early hours. The room was only £25, so I wasn't expecting much. It was warm, clean and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Perfect! No breakfast available but we knew about this in advance. Very impressive at such a cheap price, definitely recommend.
The stay, location and service was good. However, it stated that there was a free shuttle bus service. When I phoned from Bristol Airport to find out where I got the shuttle bus from I was told no shuttle only taxi! The taxi was £12 each way!! That added a lot onto the cost. If I knew this before I would have stayed at the Airport. I would like to be reimbursed for the full amount
£24 as it was very miss leading.
Needed a place to stay near the airport as we had a super early flight the next day. The room was clean and had a private bathroom. We were able to eat dinner in the bar. The staff were really friendly.
At the end of the day this hotel offers good value for money, so people who are expecting 5 star accommodation need to book what they expect. We used this hotel as a base to visit various places in the Bristol/Bath area and we weren't disappointed.
On arrival the lovely lady on reception greeted us and guided us to our room, which is something we're not used to, she helped us with operating the heating system and gave us directions to local amenities. Currently the restaurant isn't serving breakfast due to covid so I suggest taking some stuff with you like we did. We did however eat dinner at the restaurant a few times and the food was really good, as was the service.
The room was basic but very large, spacious and clean. The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept on. The shower was amazing, 2 heads, heavenly. There's a lovely garden area for nice views and walking.
Not really sure why some people are dissatisfied with this hotel, it's good value for money and very comfortable. I highly recommend.
Excellent customer service. The guy on reception went above and beyond to help us and couldn’t have been more helpful. Rooms were great. Food was lovely. Only problem was the underfloor hearing didn’t seem to work and the room was chilly. Would definitely go back there again.

Very quiet area. Towels and bedding clean. Bed comfortable. Freindly and helpful staff. However the bathroom light with a movement sensor is a very bad idea as it stays on for a good 15 minutes after use and is very bright meaning if you get up in the night be prepared to be wide awake! Also uncaring guests leaving at 0500 (presumably for the airport) were very loud!

Shabby and run down
The bedding was clean.. but that was about it.
The shower leaked more from the hose than from the shower head.
The carpet had lots of unknown stains ao I don’t know how clean it was- I never touched the floor barefoot.
The sofa and walls were scuffed and had random stains.
They were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on, soft and lumpy. I’ve left with a sore neck. Thankfully I didn’t stay longer than 2 nights.
We asked one receptionist for a refill of tea and milk before we went out and arranged to pick it up on our return, the night receptionist was on when we got back and he had no idea what we were talking about and tried to give me one tea bag and one small carton of milk... he then disappeared to get more thankfully as there were two of us!!
The whole entire place looks like it needs a good clean and some TLC both inside and out.
I would not go back.
