"We’ve made a point of staying in Hotel du Vin locations for years. They’ve been so pet friendly over the years. I was really shocked when we checked in - we were asked to leave an additional £100 deposit in respect of our dog. The room itself and service were both fine. When we checked out we were asked to wait until our room had been checked (presumably in case our dog had damaged anything). Left us feeling almost victimised.
