Havenhostel Bremerhaven

frisch renovierte ehm. Marineschulewohnheim, großer überwachter Parkplatz, Zimmer funktional ausgestattet und zum übernachten ausreichend (bei Belegung mit 4 Personen kann man sich nicht mehr verlaufen). Sehr nette Rezeptionsmannschaft. Trotz Randlage kommt man mit dem Bus schnell zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Bremerhaven. Als Ausgangspunkt für eine Stadtbesichtung incl. Umland sehr geeignet.

Gute Busanbindung

Das Havenhostel liegt in der Nähe einer Bushaltestelle, welche von den Linien 505, 506 und 511 angelaufen wird. Diese fahren alle über die Haltestellen Bürgermeister-Smidt-Straße und Havenwelten oder Schifffahrtsmuseum, was bedeutet, dass man innerhalb von zehn Minuten in der Fußgängerzone oder am Klimahaus, Zoo am Meer und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist. Die Busse fahren ca. alle Viertelstunde, ab 20 Uhr nur noch alle 30 Minuten. Aber annehmbar, zur Not kann man auch zur Fuß gehen, innerhalb einer Viertelstunde ist man in der Alten Bürger, die Kneipenstraße. Direkt gegenüber vom Havenhostel befindet sich ein 24h-Aktiv-Markt. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bad auch, der versprochene Blick zur Weser (mir persönlich nicht so sehr wichtig) war ziemlich verdeckt von dem erwähnten Aktiv-Markt und diversen Bäumen, das einzige was ich davon gesehen habe, war ein großes Containerschiff, das dort über ein paar Tage lag. Dieselben Buslinien verkehren auch bis zum Hauptbahnhof, also Einkaufen und Sehenswürdigkeiten/ Shoppen sind kein Problem, genauso wie An- und Abreise, wenn man es schafft sein Gepäck die hundert Meter von der Bushaltestelle zum Hotel zu tragen. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel, jedoch der Service, den ich erlebt habe, war nicht so gut.

Ehemalige Kaserne mit freunflichen Flair

Bei der Anlage handelt es sich um eine umgebaute Marinekaserne. Das Hotel ist sehr familienfreundlich und gut erreichbar

Basic hotel

Newly refurbished and rooms bright and colorful but very basic. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room or glasses and no toiletries in the bathroom! The hotel was noisy at night with people slamming doors and moving chairs around and we were woken on a number of occasions. location is about 20 min walk from center of Bremerhaven but there is a large 24hr supermarket right across from the hotel (Hostel). This place is a hostel, not a hotel.

Hotel liegt nicht weit vom Zentrum entfernt

Wir haben uns im Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Als angenehm haben wir den Fahrradverleih am Hotel empfunden. Mit dem Fahrrad konnte man alle Sehens-würdigkeiten bequem erreichen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung und das Frühstück war sehr Gut und ausreichend.
