High quality, clean and scenic stay - loved it!
Outstanding service better than description. Ann (Host) was an absolute delight, providing an A*** service. The room was as described with private toilet. The conditions of both were very clean and tidy with all necessities (tea, coffee, hair dryer, toiletries, towels, etc).
Breakfast was perfect, fresh and very filling. Parking available on site.
On our first night, we felt very hot and did not use the bed duvet. The following day, we noticed the duvet was replaced by a thinner alternative which was very considerate as we didn't mention this.
We cannot recommend Pen-y-Bryn more highly and will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Wales.
Friendly easy going atmosphere, and thoughtful to the guests needs. Our bedroom and bathroom was clean enough and felt comfortable. Having two chairs provided in the bedroom was also thoughtful, whereas other places usually have one. The breakfast was set out and served very nicely by the owner Anne. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
Highly recommend this B&B. A beautiful property, located in a wonderful village (boasting all need in terms of a pub, cafe and shop) that has excellent access to the surround countryside and to the peaks in the Beacons themselves.
Staff were wonderfully helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfy, there were additional comforts to hand in terms of additional tea/coffee/milk and the morning spread at breakfast was delicious.
We love our walking and so are sure to return at some point in the future.
Lovely and welcoming host and a delightful location. Short two night stay whilst I attended an event at Glanusk, room was clean and comfortable and as I was competing in a running event the sunken bath was a most welcome treat for my tired legs.
Didn't make breakfast due to early starts but Anne sent me on my way fresh fruit.
Our 2 night stay couldn't have been better. Lovely welcome from the host Anne. Very comfortable room with sofa which you don't often get. A lovely breakfast each morning so well laid out and attention to every detail. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.
We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the owner was very hospitable throughout our stay. The room was clean and cosy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Situated in pretty village with a nice pub a short stroll away. Highly recommended!
The property is situated in an amazing setting. The loft self catering accommodation is very clean and well fitted out with everything you might need.
Breakfast in the adjacent B&B was amazing and I highly recommend purchasing this.
You can’t go wrong with this accommodation. Lovely room, lovely people and lovely location.
This is a lovely old house, full of interesting artefacts. The bed was large and comfy, and pillows etc. were excellent, as was the breakfast. Every room but ours was en suite, but we had a bathroom just for our use direct across tehcorridor, and hote-style dressing gowns were provided, so it was pretty much just as good. Nice big shower separate from the bath in there. very well situated fort he delights of the Brecon Beacons
This B&B is an absolute treat. A most comfortable room with a fabulous bed, lovely linen and pillows. The en suite bathroom is very modern with a lovely shower and the facilities provided in both exceed all expectations. Lovely biscuits and fresh coffee bags. In the hallway there is a complementary fridge with fresh milk and little jugs to take back to your room .They also offer small wine bottles with an honesty bowl. The gardens are vast and spectacular . A real treat to wonder around and suddenly discover a lake! The breakfast was the best I've ever had and Rita was lovely. Ann the owner was a lovely host and her house was beautiful. I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone. Tim Alberts
Our stay at Pen-y-Bryn House was most enjoyable. The bedroom was light and spacious, with all the fittings to make it comfortable. The breakfast outstanding, with fresh fruit and coffee and tea served as it should be in beautiful porcelain crockery. Cooked breakfast faultless! Anne and Rita lovely and friendly ladies. We recommend.
